Sometimes, it's just not possible to fake it...
Yesterday, I was still excited from the previous night's accomplishments...
Yesterday, I was excited at the thought of doing a real night of Gurtogg attempts...
Yesterday, I was pumped and ready to pull Gurtogg...
Yesterday, my best friend's kid brother rolled his vehicle going 110 mph leaving him paralyzed from the waist down...
Yesterday, I did Gurtogg attempts and just didn't care...
Sometimes, it's just not possible to fake it.

| | I echo both comments above. Tragedies such as this bring us back to the reality that in RL we cannot just re-boot or "give it another shot." My condolences to you and your friend and his family. |

| | The hardest part is the conflicted struggle of worrying over his recovery, but hating that he could be so stupid to drive so fast. It looks like he'll survive, but he's changed his life forever and not for the better. |

| | It's a reality check, proof that although we may feel indestructible, we are far from it. I hope he pulls through and is able to adjust to his new life style, but more importantly, I hope he has the strength to keep living life to the fullest and to be able to use himself as an example to inspire people to make the right choices. |

| | Best thing you can do is just be honest. You are angry at him for his mistakes, but we are all human, so you forgive him for them and want the best for him inthe life he has created. |

| | that... bites, man. O_o It sounds like he deserved a slap in the face but... a permanent loss like that is just... too cruel. I don't mean to cross any lines here, but is there a name I can use to address him in my prayers? |

| | So sorry for his loss. It is a struggle to understand why some folks make the choices they make. It's hard not to judge, and he payed a terrible price for the choice he made. My thoughts and prayers and hopes go out to him. Keza |
