When looking at the new abilities, new talents, new items, new instances, etc

Assume the best.

Understand that just because something new would be overpowered, underpowered, boring, overly trivial, etc in the current game means absolutely nothing as to it's impact in the new game.

Do yourself a favour and assume the best. You'll smile more as a result

I'm sure that will get nerfed. They are making a ton of changes to Paladins, it's going to take a little time to get it right. I just don't want to be the Druids of Wrath in regards to the wild buff/nerf ride they went on in early tBC.

I said it before and I'll say it again--we'll have to wait til patch 3.2.

On release some stuff will be imba and some will suck.

    3.1 will overcompensate.

    3.2 will establish some equilibrium.

Off topic, but what does imba mean?

I'm not, I see Blizzard's game design going a bit like this:

Blizzard: We'll make these classes great at one thing and these other ones hybrid.
Hybrid chorus: Hey, we're not as good as them, so we can't get into raids.
Blizzard: Oh, OK *phoom* now you are. Enjoy your free extra character.

    Or like this:

Teenager X: What do you play?
Teenager 1: I play a mage, I cast powerful spells.
Teenager X: Sure, we got those in my game, they're called mystics.
Teenager 2: I play a warrior, I hold monsters off my party members.
Teenager X: Oh yeah, we got these, they are called guardians.
    Teenager 3: I play a DEATH KNIGHT
Teenager X: Oooh, what do these do?

So I think over time we're seeing more hybrid and more exotic classes, moving away from the classic D&D classes. I'm very hopeful about our hybrid-ness, and Blizzard said as much. But I expect the days of warriors being seen mainly as tanks, or better tanks, will be over.
