I played Tabula Rasa last night during their free weekend with a friend (the free week extends to the 13th). The combat is still as fun as it always was, but I definitely noticed that things were harder to kill and I died a hell of a lot easier without constant attention to my repair tool (against a bazillion mobs, at least).

They redid the art and models on bosses which was pretty cool. There are zone-wide random events and radio missions on a more frequent basis plus new cinematics...

Well I came to TankSpot/TabulaSpot for TR. As has probably been apparent by my utter lack of anything to say here, I've generally given up on the game. My account officially expires somewhere between the 10th and 15th of April, and I really don't have any intention of playing it more.

I think I finally finished Mires, save for a quest to do the impossible (see kill Stalkers and Striders). Time to move on to Valverde Plateau.

Not too sure I'm going to try and do any instance quests. I've had enough issues in 1.4 with killing some of the more difficult mobs that its put a sour taste in my mouth. That, and I'm really not looking forward to a repeat of the robotics facility debacle I experienced last time I stepped foot in an instance.

So I played quite a bit of TR last night, achieving the level and a half of experience goal I set for myself during a normal play session and I can't help but notice that... this zone does end.

I'm referring to the Mires, which I first wrote about a while ago. I just have yet to find an end to the quests I'm receiving. Every time I turn something in, I see a new "radio" icon to grab additional quests, often from NPCs that I had previously done multiple quests for already....
