The Office, South Park, Dexter, Rome

The Office returns this Thursday. My happiness for this cannot be expressed without showing a picture of my pants.

South Park's first two episodes of this season made me want to kill myself. They were damn near terrible. I haven't seen the third episode of the season yet, but this past one was finally up to the level of hilarity I've come to expect from the creators. Hopefully the remainder is at the same caliber.

So Journeyman isn't returning when NBC finishes bringing back shows. That doesn't surprise me at all. Sad, but not surprising. The past few weeks since Sarah Connor Chronicles ended its first season to now I've managed to fill well. I've been watching Season One of the show "Dexter" and "Rome". I just finished S1 of Dexter and all I can say is "damn". I've managed to find a new show to love and its on fucking Showtime. I'm not about to pay for a movie channel, so I'll probably be downloading it when the time comes. Right now I'm waiting for S2 to come out on DVD to I can pick that up. Rome is... interesting. I like it quite a bit, even though it isn't the type of show I normally fall for. I suppose that's why I enjoy it.

To wrap up... go see Run Fatboy Run if you haven't. Its a pretty damn funny movie. I know I truly enjoyed it. :)

I watched seasons 1 and 2 of Dexter over a four day period. Such an excellent series. I'm honestly worried about what I'm going to do for season 3 because I don't think I could stand to wait a week between episodes with the kind of suspense that this series manages to build. I might have to wait until the season is over and watch it all at once like the first two.

I'm wanting to see the show so badly right now that I'm not sure I can wait until S2 comes out on DVD. I may end up downloading it... but at this point I've developed a very particular TV-time ritual watching S1. My only option to maintain that TV ritual is to download them and convert them in to something that the PS3's media server functionality can play from my TV. Honestly that feels like too much work, but I may just do it.
