Out of the frying pan, into the rep grind.

Hello thar, tis me again.

Since my last post I've quit my brand spanking new 25-man guild as I just can't work up the interest to do even the bare minimum in regards to raiding. I just cba, curse you xpac anticipation. I of course though that my apathy towards raiding and general instancing on my tankadin meant the end of wow for me for a while. I couldn't even feign interest in levelling my alts, even though I really want my Tauren warrior to be 70 for wrath. After reading up on a couple of the new achievements this changed. You see, apart from being a mount junkie, I am also quite the title junkie as well. Even though I haven't had much opportunity to gain said glorius proclamations, apart from the SSO one, I still loves em and will go to great lengths to get them. This is why I am now investing most of my play time running through stratholme and slaughtering undead in droves. I wants me that sexy new Argent Champion title. This is gotten by gaining exalted reputation with both the Argent Dawn and The Argent Crusade, which is one of the new factions being added.

Another title being added is The Diplomat, which is gotten by gaining exalted reputation with Sporeggar, Mag'har/Kurenai, and Timbermaw Hold. Now this one is going to be tougher then the Argent one. Mainly because it's going to be a big pain in the hole to grind out all three considering I'm very low with both TMH and Sporeggar. Gahhhhhhhhhh not looking forward to it. Still, it will give me some more time to enjoy my ret build, which I'm currently using as my nekkid pvp build. I got a rough outline from a spec I saw posted, but it wasn't very good so I customised it a bit. Now being the utter noob about ret that I am I probably got it completely wrong, but meh, it works. Now, back to the naked pvp. I have never liked pvp overmuch, pretty much because being prot in bg's just isin't much fun for me. I hear that other people enjoy flag carrying and node defending, but these always seem dreadfully boring to me. Which is why I specced ret, and then decided to forgoe armor.

This was inspired by a blog written by Orkchops, which you can find here. It left me in stiches but also gave me an idea about how to make pvp interesting for myself, so for you Orkchops,

/salute

It was fantasticly fun. I don't think pvp has ever been that exciting and helter-skelter for me. I was always the first to dive into the combat, my axe-blade hungering for my opponents blood! And if I was lucky I'd come out the other side sans body bag, but I didn't care if I died, because it was just so much damn fun. I could just imagine what was going through the enemies mind.

"Okay, farm seems safe, shit an incoming horde attack, lemme see, warrior, priest, rogue....and a a paladin....without armor......and with a really big axe.....coming straight at me"

And then while they're disabled by awe(some people will say by laughter, but these people are frauds and LIARS), I leap in and rend them in twain!

It really is great fun killing unsuspecting people while you're nekkid nd they're in some spiffy and shiny pvp gear=P

I think I repeated myelf a lot in this post, but hey, it was all quality stuff, so I'm sure you won't mind hearing it twice.

Shorty handed in his last runecloth last night, for max rep with the home cities. Argent Dawn isn't that bad really - empty your bags and go into Strat. I did clears of all the mobs, except the room with the summoners in, the ones in Rattlegore's room, and the mini-bosses downstairs, as they don't give rep (?). The baby dragons are worth slaughtering for the quest item, and it's not bad money at all - ah'ing enchants and vendoring blues.

I'll agree that timbermaw is a pain, but I farmed a winterspring putty tat at the same time
