Let me start off by saying that I'm in a guild currently that's pretty good on progression raiding. The guilds downed everything except OS 3D.

Now I love my guild mates. They're real nice people and easy to get along with. I've done several Naxx 25's with them towards the beginning of January. Since then at my workplace several people have quit. My boss rather then hire new people to fill the spots he's shuffled the remaining people around. I was working from about lunchtime to about 6PM. This worked out great since my guild raids heavily during the week. This was not to last since I now work the evening shift which is 6PM to about 10:30PM. My schedule allows me to only raid three days a week. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. No raids are scheduled for these days. I've tried to convince some guild mates to run a Naxx 10 on Saturday. Low turnup. I can't blame them its pretty chaotic during the week.

Now I've been pugging the majority of my raids while tanking some alt Naxx 10/ OS 10 runs for some fresh 80s. Trying to get a regular setup. I'm getting frutrated with pugging all my raids. I've now been demoted for not being a "core raider." Understandable. I spoke with the GM and he said he could possibly get a Malygos going regularly on sunday night. I was pleased with his offer. (The GM is a really nice guy as you can probably tell but unfortunatly this didn't work out) Anyways after several unsuccessful Naxx 25 pugs I have decided to stop pugging for the time being. Now I have several options for the future.

1. Stay in the current guild and raid in a "spure of the moment" type deal every couple weeks. Wait for the job situation to fix itself.

2. Leave the current guild and join another guild that has offered me a core raider position on several occasions. I still can't make all the raids but the majority are done on days I can attend.

3. Quit WoW for the time being. Its getting complicated trying to fit so much content into a single weekend. Unsuccessful pug groups announcing in trade "LFM Naxx need a tank and 3 healers PST full clear."

If you've been in a situation what did you do?
Also advice would be helpful generally when I blog I've been called a "jerk" and several other things. I didn't realize it at the time but it showed me what I was really doing. Truthful advice is required. Thanks

Vapo.

if you like the people you raid with its probably a good idea to stay in that guild, even if your not raiding actively with them. if however you find a guild you like that raids when you can raid go for it, but i wouldn't leave a guild you like unless you have a prospect or two.

Stay with your guild, put the game on a backburner. Then pray your boss pulls his finger out and hires more staff.

Personally, it really depends on why you have fun playing the game.

If you just want a place to hang out, kick back and do instances with the occasional raid, then stay.

If you really love raiding and that's why you're playing the game, then go.

Most people will be somewhere between the 2 extremes and the question is what will ultimately make you happy.

As an example, I play the game largely to raid. The PvP, the 5-mans, etc .. they are fun but they're a byproduct of me being in a guild I enjoy raiding with. If you were to ask me to stay in a guild where I couldn't raid, I would be unhappy.

The question which only you can answer therefore is which will make you happier.
