It's been too long since I've posted a blog entry. I found a topic that I think is pretty worthy of discussion and debate.
Blessing of Kings is definitely one of the better WoW related blogs that I've read and definitely one of the best regarding Paladins.
The Blog entry
In his post, Rohan lamented and criticized Blizzard and "Lack of Vision" regarding the Paladin class. He made some very solid points regarding our class and how we are only viable from our powerful buffs. I agree with many of his points, but I disagree with his overall assessment.
The Burning Crusade has some faults, but one of the great things the expansion did was make so-called "off-specs" viable again. There were only a mere handful of raiding protection paladins in the old world. Now, almost every raiding guild has one or more amongst it's tanking core. Retribution Paladins have gone from "RetLOL" to having a raiding slot (sometimes, it's a work in progress).
I think Blizzard's crime is not hashing out the little things. Many thing's about our class make little or no sense. But I do think Blizzard has an overarching vision regarding Paladins. The devil is in the details.
