Just a few quick thoughts from 3.0.2

Just a few quick hits, my bed is calling it's sweet siren song to me.
- Tanking Kalecgos is 50 times easier healing Kalecgos. 2nd time I got to tank the dragon and the demon. I was pretty impressed with my threat generation. Looked like no one was able to come near me. Just to be on the safe side, I popped Avenging Wrath on the taunt off of Kalecgos.
- I got to fight Brut for the first time. I went and respecced and grabbed my dps gear. Was really happy with my performance, 2450 dps and 6th overall. The top was our Arms Warrior, who was dishing out like 3200 dps. Yikes!
- Did some PvP with the guild this weekend as Ret. I was in PvE ret gear and had only about 30 resilience. Al ot of people say Ret is OP in battlegrounds. I think I'm going to call shenanigans. I think the problem is that no one knows what to do with a Ret Paladin in PvP. It used to be if you had some PvP gear, you could almost ignore them. We simply couldn't do enough damage to be a threat. In 3.0.2, this is simply not an option. A very angry man is coming at you with a very large weapon, intent on doing much violence, and you're going to let him get near enough to swing that mankiller!?
Several times I would just run up to someone without being snared, feared, or controlled in anyway. I simply couldn't believe it. Even as I started to use my abilities, still nothing, it's as if I didn't exist to their eyes. It's not as if it was a rush of 5 Alliance against 1 Horde. Almost always, it would be a small skirmish of 4-5 players total split from each side. I'm still confused at the lack of attention to me. Needless to say, the enemies hesitation was my gain. I felt useful and potent on the field of battle. A most satisfying feeling.
- The servers instability is annoying, but I can forgive Blizzard. Huge patch with many changes across the board, I'm impressed the servers actually work sometimes.
- I got my Hallowed Helm and Squashling Pet this year, all my Hallow Eve achievement's are complete, except the soon to be removed 20 masks. I'm set for 3.0.3!
- Doing the rep grinds. Got everyone but Gnomer to Exalted. Damn gnomes. Why do they always have to be the annoyance? Also, got 7k into Revered with Argent Dawn. Strath runs for fun and profit!
