[item]Blade of the Unrequited[/item]
Romulo, Opera Event, Karazhan
This dagger works out to have the highest potential EH of any 1h weapon in the game. This is because it boasts something very rare in a weapon: sockets. The only other socketed weapon I know of is [item]Cleaver of the Unforgiving[/item], which has one socket. The dagger has 3. This enables very high stamina-stacking (+45 with gems), which leads to its high effective health.
What other fun stuff could we do with the dagger though? We have 3 sockets to play with.
-30 defense, parry or dodge rating. Boring! Plus, the Sun Eater would still win in the avoidance category.
-30 hit rating. The highest +hit on a 1h weapon is 24, on [item]Windforged Rapier[/item].
-30 resilience rating. If you like that kind of thing. Might help reach uncrittable in unconventional armor gear like resistance sets. Half a dozen weapons share the highest resilience on a 1h weapon: 21.
-12 resist all. This is probably the most interesting; good for multi-school magic fights like Shade or OTing Hydross, and also useful for patching up holes in dedicated resist sets. The current max resists on weapons are:
10 fire [item]Alcor's Sunrazor[/item]
10 shadow [item]Midnight Mace[/item]... I wouldn't suggest using this weapon for anything though.
9 nature [item]Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker[/item]
0 frost
0 arcane
So... when is this dagger useful? It has a place in a dedicated EH set, but in later raids may suffer due to lower threat (dps, hit), as well as the special way Revenge treats daggers. If you're having trouble reaching uncrittable, stacking resilience on this will greatly help. For any magic fight, the resists would be useful, especially since there are no alternative resist weapons for frost or arcane.
Useful. Versatile. I'm glad nobody else thought so when it dropped

| | I don't ever remember seeing that drop, but you better believe if I do I might snatch it up. |

| | I think one of our very good but casual tanks was using it until KD dropped for him last night. I had a friend in my previous guild that tanked with it and the Malchazeen at times. Good call, a handy little weapon to be sure! |
