So, maybe Vigilance goes like this.

Start a fight. Get a threat lead. Place vigilance on your threaty tree healer who normally PVP's.

Lasts until effect is canceled, it says. OK.

Some dumb warlock forgets to soul shatter or whatever it is - taunt.

Two seconds later, threaty tree healer casts inspiration when Baddie McBad Boss does some huge environmental damage thing. BMBB runs at the threatening tree with chainsaw gunning - vigilance...

OK so I know Intercept only costs 7 rage; but when you get there, it's nice to have 8 rage left over not 3. Then you still have enough to pummel when you get there, or you're very close to a shield bash or concussion blow.

I mean; it's magical - stance dance, intercept, berserker rage, back to defensive, taunt...

So a strange thing happened last week in ZA. I decided to blow some cash re-spec'ing for ZA, as I usually OT it and our prot pld MT's it. So I put 41 points in Fury and 20 points in Prot to maximize my viability, or so the concept went.

Now, my rotations sucked for the first two attempts as I got used to Rampage, and that's part of it. But on our boss fights, my DPS via recap at the end was 350, then 450, then finally when i got windfury only 550. I can do 800 dps devastating!...

So we attacked TK this week with a new zeal, having downed three new bosses in two weeks ( which is an above average week for us) over the last little bit. We don't go to TK much; we're more in SSC these days but getting sick of it.

And we wiped four times to Al'ar, wasting our trash timer - and we called it a night, sadly. Ouch! Oh well, I'm sure we'll get him Thursday and get back to Void Reaver and Solarian shortly after. (Also, starting to feel like we're the only guild that's...

10) Tanking BRD with my new guild at 52. Everyone else was 60, and they didn't have a prot warrior yet (I was to be the first). I held aggro. Certainly they must have held back.

9) At the end right before TBC, our guild getting better and better geared, we'd do the 45 minute Baron run for new guildies and I'd have to dual wield my two [item]Timeworn Mace[/item]s in defensive stance to keep aggro. It worked!...
