So last night was my third time through Halls of Lightning. We were going to do the "daily heroic", but someone in /Trade was saying that it was down, and heck, I don't know where Utgarde Keep is anyway. Most of my time in the beta is concerned with: 1) dealing with 2fps in Dalaran long enough to repair and get out, and 2) LFG, get to Naxx/CotStrat/Halls and then crash!

So anyway.We had fun at it. Let the DK tank a bit, it was fun to watch. The animation of the hands on...

So the first boss in Naxx was hard enough we could not one shot him in the blue/purp PVP gear we all start with, if you only bring nine people. After our first attempt, Naxx crashed. Doh!

Oh well, it is a beta.

Looking forward to getting back in there.

1. I am in love with Shockwave.
2. I like how critical block makes me want to swap to defensive stance to hit shield block to increase my next shield slam. Makes me feel as though defensive stance is for more than just flag running in PVP.
3. I've only tanked Dead Strat, Gruul's Lair (with an 80 warrior I might add), and Halls of Lightning - but the game feels faster without being easier. Which is really cool. I never felt like I had to wait for mana users (only once), but I also never felt like

Here's hoping I feel I can lose one or two more points from improved heroic strike with all this rage they're promising, cause I'd like to take Vigilance and at least one point in TM. Still no interest in Improved Revenge though.

On the other hand, it is nice to have so many talents in the top of prot that I am really excited about.

So I've noticed a tendency in my guild, at least, and I assume server wide, for raiding to slow down a bit during summer.

Guildies in University are doing what good productive late teens early 20's members of society should be doing, i.e. mental chemical rearrangement and repetitive mating attempts.

"Adult" guildies are taking family vacations, or working harder to cover co-workers on vacations. Heck, one friend of mine is taking a one month sabatical to...
