After a few weeks of problems doing Gruul, we seem to have hit our stride once more. One shotted HKM, one shotted Gruul, and then lost too many people, so we split to KZ and one shotted everything we did there too.

Only since we've had a hard time recently, it felt good.

But there's the nagging feeling in the back of my head .... "One shots are screwing the pooch, buddy. Get back on the progression horse."

Our pimp cane is back.

After weeks of not even making it to SSC after wiping to Gruul of all things, we have found our zen once more.

If we're lucky, Tuesday we'll walk in, slaughter the HKM and Gruul fights, then go take a flask wet attempt at Lurker.

So a few years ago, I was a burned out workaholic who didn't like his job anymore. I was used to putting in long hours studying the arcanum of VPN technologies, networking protocols, stateful packet filtering, java server management, perl scripting and what have you. For years, this had paid off - I found it rewarding and was advancing career wise to boot.

But at some point, well - it's not that I had learned it all, but...

Did you ever notice how once you have content on farm, you often regress a little bit and start sucking at it again for a little bit?

Is it the new recruits? The alts? Is it that you forgot to shield block at a critical moment? Did people forget to turn on the boss mod? Maybe we're all to cheap to flask now that we've got it on farm...

It's probably all of the above. See you've got the strategy cold; but all the prep stuff you were doing has gone out the window in...

Is it just me? Or was that first ZA pull with the Indiana Jones guy dying a hell of a lot of fun the first time?

I thought they did a great job with that. It helps that we didn't check guides or anything, so there was this moment of wondering "hmm, two elites, and an 8 pack or so of trash... wtf are we going to..."
