OK so I know Intercept only costs 7 rage; but when you get there, it's nice to have 8 rage left over not 3. Then you still have enough to pummel when you get there, or you're very close to a shield bash or concussion blow.

I mean; it's magical - stance dance, intercept, berserker rage, back to defensive, taunt...

How do people live without 1/3 TM?

Nothing's wrong with Intervene; I use it to save players. To get to mobs, however, Intercept is better.

When are you intercepting in PvE that intervene wouldn't be just as good if not better?

Sheeps that are not sheeped tend to go for the mage that sheeped it, or the healer. Imagine a trash pull where six mages, standing on a bridge clumped up with six healers, are sheeping SSC trash and one of the sheeps starts to run for the cloth clump.

Intervene takes me to the cloth clump but does not help me get to the mob, intercept takes me to the mob, and stuns it, and gives me the chance to use berserker rage.
