Al'ar's Revenge, and a question about shields?

So we attacked TK this week with a new zeal, having downed three new bosses in two weeks ( which is an above average week for us) over the last little bit. We don't go to TK much; we're more in SSC these days but getting sick of it.

And we wiped four times to Al'ar, wasting our trash timer - and we called it a night, sadly. Ouch! Oh well, I'm sure we'll get him Thursday and get back to Void Reaver and Solarian shortly after. (Also, starting to feel like we're the only guild that's in T5 content - everyone seems like they are either KZ/GL or MH/BT... anyone else out there doing SSC/TK?)

Next up, the gear - I rounded out my kit with the new badge chest [item]Chestplate of Stoicism[/item]. Gemmed it with the purple parry/stamina gem from Mech that I love so much - the extra one parry justifies using it over dodge imo, so I socked with it wherever I can. Also got the ZA [item]Bulwark of the Amani Empire[/item] shield too. Woot!

My gear is getting ridiculous now; in my "normal" kit I'm almost 16,700 health with 507 defense, 24% dodge, 18% parry, 22% block and 6% hit and 31 expertise (past the soft cap). And I'm doing it with almost 400 BV, a stat which traditionally I lack unless I'm in my PVP gear (825 BV on my PVP set! Woot!! 3,400 shield slam crits trinket on no buffs!) If I push EH > all else I can get over 18,000 and still be uncrittable with good hit and exp. Feeling good. Of course, I totally out gear our content now, not just really out gear it - but that's OK it's fun.

I've run in to a shield conundrum.

I slapped 18 stam on the S2 [item]Merciless Gladiator's Shield Wall[/item] shield to max out EH.

I put 18 BV on the ZA [item]Bulwark of the Amani Empire[/item] to max out BV.

I put 18 BV on the SSO [item]Dawnforged Defender[/item] to make it my PVP shield - but now that I have the ZA Bulwark, that's going to be my PVP shield for sure.

So what should I do with the Dawnforged fail shield? Vendor? [item]Felsteel Shield Spike[/item]?
