So, PVP

(I've been away for a while, here's my personal blog posts for the past month re-posted here for posterity. )

I’m a tank in the World of Warcraft. 95 days /played, 47 this level, and probably 98% of that I spent as a protection warrior that did nothing but solo grind as a dual wielder, pvp as a dual wielder, or tank behind a board. I got Despair a few months back, and I took it since noone else wanted it. About that time our guild hit a recruiting / vacation / mid terms / suddenly we can’t raid anymore snag, and I just kept getting angrier and angrier. I directed it at my guildies, even though this is mostly irl friends and family. Totally not cool! But, my frustration was justified - here I am a 95 days played protection warrior in gear that would probably fair OK in early T6 content speed running Karazhan for the millionth time writing posts about hating epic trash loot. I hated the game, and all the people who couldn’t bother to log in on time (or at all).

Of course, it wasn’t their fault. You can’t blame the circumstances when you refuse to admit that half the game (PVP) exists after all, you have to blame yourself for having a bad time.

So I re-spec’ed. I took a spec from www.tankspot.com that was apparently used by Serennia, some top ranked warrior in S2. Not that I know how to make use of it, but I do my best to piercing howl, demoralizing shout and hamstring as much as possible. If I could only remember to spell reflect. Alterac Valley is painful, but I should probably download that enabler mod before I complain too much. AB is fun, but I always loved AB. WSG I hate, but I always hated WSG. I’m learning to stab things with gigantic swords. Not sure I notice the sword proc, tho at times I have more rage than I understand. My crit is awful, my resilience is worse. My AP is OK. Second Wind rocks, Blood Craze I’m not sure I notice. But I must say, gigantic burst damage in PVP is as good as they all said it was.

Maybe I’ll go 51/0/0?
