So 60-70% of boss fights are now infinite rage scenarios; devastate's damage has been nerfed substantially and none of our other attacks are based on weapon speed (i.e. normalization will not impact them).

- Personally...I hate spamming HS every 1.50 seconds already...I don't think I'd like to make it even harsher lol.
Posted 02-22-2009 at 10:57 AM by kirbyispink - I understand why you would hate it, but for the mean time it is your top damage and threat tool (or should be). Seems like an improvement to it would be good.
Smart people have pointed out that http://www.wowhead.com/?item=40402 would be preferable to the paper cutter, and that's probably true - 40 dps is huge. But I'm not sure that my slayer compares as favorably.Posted 02-22-2009 at 11:03 AM by thugthedum - I suppose if I was having trouble with threat, then I'd perhaps consider it. But I personally wouldn't do it as a first resort as I'm sure I could re-gem and swap out gear appropriately to increase my TPS.

40 dps is a big difference. Eventually, Weapon speed does not win especially if you can't humanly keep up. Infinite Rage is also a myth.Posted 02-22-2009 at 09:04 PM by veneretio 
- Don't forget the AP normalization penalties are harsher for daggers.
