Halls of Lightning

So last night was my third time through Halls of Lightning. We were going to do the "daily heroic", but someone in /Trade was saying that it was down, and heck, I don't know where Utgarde Keep is anyway. Most of my time in the beta is concerned with: 1) dealing with 2fps in Dalaran long enough to repair and get out, and 2) LFG, get to Naxx/CotStrat/Halls and then crash!
So anyway.We had fun at it. Let the DK tank a bit, it was fun to watch. The animation of the hands on the ground thing that DK's do is a little annoying in that it sometimes obscure's the battle field, but thunderclap / shockwave usually solves the problem of watching runners - there aren't as many. The DK did pretty well, handling three packs, four packs, and more packs with ease. In fact, with a certain buff up and both of us in our PVP premade suits, he had more armor than me when I equip a shield! QQ!
Really liking Shockwave. Can't stress it enough. Starting to pick up when Sword and Board procs too, adding threat. Man I'd kill for some mods, maybe I'll try to install some tonight.
As for drops - I have managed to pick up the [item]Eternally Folded Blade[/item] or whatnot. Much nicer with a 1.6 speed weapon!

 | Lucky on the sword, I've hit up lightning halls 3 times myself without seeing it....could be the new shoulderguards of the bold for tanks. Glad you're enjoying the beta!  |
