DPS time!

Dusted off my dps set, enchanted and socketed it (cost about 2k total to get it fixed up and add some crafted pieces), found the Fury Guide on tankspot and respecced, glyphed etc according to it. Figured out when and why I could instant slam and got an annoying addon that yells "Perfect!" when its time to slam. And now I'm all ready to dps 25-man Naxx. Unless someone doesn't show, then will tank if needed. Itching to see what dps'ing is like though... Any tips for a first-time Fury?

Stay alive. Dead DPS = no DPS. Good luck!Posted 01-25-2009 at 04:18 PM by Arrivan

Lol yeah I respec'd yesterday and found that you don't get heals as often as DPS. So going straight from tank to DPS I never knew when to lay off or step back.
Also dont complain about your DPS. DKs usually beat me, it happens. Don't get discouraged if you're not #1, it happens.
Best of luck, DPS is a nice break from tanking.Posted 01-25-2009 at 10:10 PM by AxLxExX

Just watch your whirlwind. It's essentially an AoE attack with mucho threat. I died many a time because I didn't wait for a couple of Tclaps to go off before I popped it.Posted 01-26-2009 at 11:00 AM by Arethius

Count to 5 then start dps. Between big crits, flurry procs, and whirlwinds; you can have very spiky agro. Count to 5 and then start dps. It was save you repair bills and make things much smoother.
Also, you can never have too many Bold Scarlet Rubies. Crit, hit, haste, whatever all look nice but they all pale in comparison to just hitting things very, very hard.Posted 01-27-2009 at 10:01 AM by Big Papa
