"How can you be a protection warrior at level one?" I hear you all asking. It's a matter of heart. Of drive. Of the mentality of a protection warrior.
Leveling from 1-70 while protection specced was a pain, but it allowed me to practice my tanking skills on the way to 70. I tanked everything from VC to Gnomer to BRD, on up through all of the Burning Crusade instances as I leveled through them. And now I find myself the warrior tank in my small guild of friends who is the best geared, and is one of the go-to guys when we do our ZA attempts.
Being prot at heart has its advantages.

I'm... not sure how to feel about this. I guess it's awesome. It's just a big change.

I remember 40 as being the big benchmark in leveling. New armors, lots of new abilites, and the big one, a mount. I guess I can understand why they did it, I'm just not sure that I like it.Posted 06-19-2008 at 10:34 PM by Vissara

All it does it makes levelling quicker at a point where mounts are really needed. I have only managed to level 1 alt past 30 because I can't stand the running around.
It's not going to make any easier, the mobs still hit as hard, the quests are the same. But the mount, ohhhh baby.Posted 06-20-2008 at 03:17 AM by adrenalize - Why would anyone not like it? What does it hurt? I see a big positive, in that it makes leveling slightly less of a chore, but I can't see any negative.
