Loots I Want From ZA

As much as I'm all about content, I like to look at what upgrades might come from an instance. It's a fun exercise in determining what exactly is an upgrade for me, and also taking a look at what set a particular piece of gear might fit into. Now, we're only 3/6 in ZA at the current time, though we have another run scheduled for next Thursday. Hopefully we'll get Dragonhawk down, and take our first look at Hex Lord Malacrass. I know I'll be bringing my A-game (as well as a bunch of consumables) to help make sure that happens.

For reference, here's my armory. Now on to the list.

[item]Jungle Stompers[/item] - Nalorakk - down

This isn't too much of an upgrade over [item]Battlescar Boots[/item], but the Block Value instead of Parry Rating means they would be awesome for threat.

[item]Bulwark of the Amani Empire[/item] - Jan'alai - not down

528 armor, and a bunch of stam better than [item]Dawnforged Defender[/item], means this is probably a better progression shield. But it's also the better threat shield, so Defender gets left in the dust.

[item]Battleworn Tuskguard[/item] - Hex Lord Malacrass - not down

This seriously just has more of everything over my T4 helm. More armor, more stam, more BV, more defense, and less block rating. Awesome.

[item]Chestguard of the Warlord[/item] - Zul'jin - not down

More armor, more stam, and more dodge means this is a progression piece. Which is unfortunate, because by the time we get Zul'jin down, WotLK will probably be coming out very soon. My [item]Panzar'Thar Breastplate[/item] will be my threat chestpiece. I just can't pass up that much BV.

[item]Cleaver of the Unforgiving[/item] - Zul'jin - not down

This has [item]Quickening Blade of the Prince[/item] beat so hard it doesn't know what hit it. 6.4 more DPS, more stam, a socket (I mean, more stam), and some hit rating means if this drops, the blade might just go away.

[item]Tiny Voodoo Mask[/item] - Hex Lord Malacrass - not down

Because who doesn't want one, really?

[item]Pauldrons of Stone Resolve[/item] - First timed chest - got it once

I'm honestly not sure whether these are an upgrade. It would be nice to have some shoulders with some defense rating on them for a change, but [item]Merciless Gladiator's Plate Shoulders[/item] just have more stam and more armor. I'd likely only take these if nobody else wanted them.

[item]Signet of the Last Defender[/item] - Third timed chest - never gotten it

A great threat/stam ring. This could replace either of my rings.

[item]Amani War Bear[/item] - Fourth timed chest - never gotten it

Again, who doesn't want one, really?

[item]Rage[/item] - Second timed chest - never gotten it

To match my [item]Fury[/item] for my DPS set. I definitely wouldn't take it away from a DPS class that actually needed it, but I wouldn't say no if nobody else wanted it.

And there you have it. My loot list for ZA. I'm working currently, so I can't log in and get a screen cap of what my Night Elf would look like in this particular set of gear, but from what I've looked at in the past, it's pretty ridiculous. Mostly because of the Tuskguard. And the Pauldrons. And, I guess, the Bulwark. And the stompers...

Yeah, it all looks pretty ridiculous on a Night Elf. I'll have to see what I can do about that.
