Glory of the Ulduar Raider

DONE!!!!!!! Several weeks ago our 10man progression group completed this achiev. I had done most of the things with them but schedule conflics kept me out of Firefighter. Since that group got FF we had not been able to get people to try it again. Last night we roflstomped a couple HM others needed but the main goal was FF. Took us a couple trys but man what a fight. With this achiev out of the way I guess many are "done" with Uld 10. I enjoy raiding so i will be there for my guildies when they need but thanks to the ones that didnt need FF anymore and still came to help out.

Awwh yeah, I remember the rush when we downed Yogg 1 and somebody put up their MOLL-E for us to get our drakes.

- Ah yes we had a similar thing this week. most of us had our drakes but 3 people were missing an achievement each - one firefighter, one 3 elders and one yogg1.
After we got our first Algalon kill, we proceeded to clear to mimiron for another evening with mimiron some other evening when we would be fresh. We got there fast and decided to start firefighter. The initial idea was to just wipe once to get the teleporter and we might as well push the button to do it. Interestingly people just didnt want to wipe and went ahead with it. We did wipe but since it was going so well, we tried again and got our 2nd firefighter in 2 tries - after an Algalon kill too
I guess the first time is the hardest :P
We got 3 elders down too yesterday so only yogg1 is left after that i'm so done with ulduar (tbh Ulduar is still one of my two favorite instances in the game, the other being BWL, but after so many runs to the place a change of air, even if it's crappy Coliseum, is welcome)Posted 10-12-2009 at 12:54 AM by Fledern
