First night back

So after an almost two week break which also coincided with some other guildies holidays we were back in Ulduar 25 last night. [During the break a 10man team got our guild's first kill of Yoghurt, but 25mans were few and far between.]
A couple of raiders didn't log on last night, something which is starting to irritate a lot of people, but with 24 we headed to Flame Leviathon and after one wipe we got our first FL+2 kill (he killed most of the raid in the process but still!). XT, Kolog and Auri died pretty smoothly with only the odd dead raider. Hodir however was a complete mess with a slow kill with a lot of dead dps and healers. Mimi was smooth and signaled my 100 EoC.
While we were away they had spent a frustrating night (maybe two) wiping to Thorim with offspec tanks and <25 people, and unfortunately one of our mages (who usually sheeps the gauntlet) dc'ed while clearing Thorim trash and after three tries we called it. I drew a rough picture this morning and posted it on our website in an attempt to explain the gauntlet setup. I'll blame the weather as raiding during the evening of the fourth day of above 30C for the British raiders meant several of us were really battling.
So all in all it wasn't a bad night, tank-loot consisted of no titanguard (shock horror), Auriaya's cloak (went to an offspec) and I got my tier chest.
In RL we are still trying to buy our first house and for the first time in weeks we have almost got through an entire week without bad news or something going wrong. I say "almost" as the structural survey will hopefully arrive by mail today and who knows what that might say!

I think we have seen one tankring from Auriaya in ehm... a lot of kills? she's being killed since the 2nd ulduar week. Never seen the breastplate either. In fact, most tank loot, other than the razor gun, seems to refuse to drop 90% of the time. We just get thrown weapons a lot.Posted 07-03-2009 at 07:18 AM by Aethelas - The tank loot in Ulduar doesn't seem very spread out to me. A few bosses drop many tank loots lol.

Posted 07-03-2009 at 01:09 PM by Tazncazper - 6 weeks in row for my Uld10 group Kologarn has provided us with : Stoneguard and Shoulderguards of the Solemn Watch. No variations yet. I am slowly coming to believe that the rest of the reported drops are lies spread to give the other players a faint hope.
