It was a massacre

.... and no I'm not talking about dead gnomes!
So last night with an incredible 27 people signed including 7 main spec healers our first reset run of the week was looking hopeful and despite starting with only 22 (and ending with our maximum of 23) it was a massace!
Flame Leviathan, XT, Kolog, Auriaya, Hodir, Freya, Mimi and Razorscale all fell inside our three hour raid and all were one-shots (unless you count the accidental pull and reset of Freya while clearing trash) and even our mages, two of whom managed 11 deaths throughout the evening couldn't cause a wipe! Yes, we lost a couple of people every boss fight, but never a tank (or anyone too important!).
Tank loot was our 7th (if I've counted correctly) titanguard (went to our arms/fury warrior), BV neck (MT), Cloak of the makers (4th or 5th one by now I'm guessing and which went to our pally tank) and Hodir's shield (3rd and defaulted to the same pally tank).
I'm missing the next 5 raids, due to my parents visiting from overseas, and with RL stress hitting catastrophic proportions (trying to buy a house is stupidly painful) I'm looking forward to a relaxing week and a bit. Despite my parents awesome timing - they are out for almost all of the Summer Flame festival - I am hopeful that my husband will be able to "tag-team" the terrible-twosome round their Summer Flame achievements! As this would leave only Brewfest to complete for their "long strange trip" meta.

Grats, though curse you on your tank loot fortunes. We got our 2nd Titanguard this week and I snapped it up.....and we got Mimi to 2% in ph4 3 consecutive times last night. there's nothing quite like the raid saying "hit the head, the head has to die!" when I'm the last one standing.Posted 06-19-2009 at 05:40 AM by Horacio
