Patchwork

The title of this blog refers to many things, the odd bits I've played in WoW since my holiday; the current in-guild issues; as well as Shorty's new dps "look". The first two are respectively pretty boring and pretty melodramatic, so I'm going to shelve them for this blog and focus on something "light".
So, Shorty's tank gear, despite coming from lots of different sources doesn't "gel" too badly. His ZA helm looks a little out of place, but I'm fairly convinced it looks better than on some characters
The shiny shield is a bit of an eyesore, but one I can live with.

His dps gear on the other hand makes him look a lot like a demented christmas gnome. As the pictures below show the red glowy shoulders, lumo green hands, mismatched (and overly big) fist weapons are bad enough, luckily I can hide helm else it's a complete disaster. The tabard is the result of searching through every tabard he can wear in an attempt to find one that calmed the look down. The SSO tabard is the absolute worst at making it look like a tauren threw up all over him.

Oh well there are several redeeming features:
1. It doesn't look anywhere near as bad from behind
2. The gear is pretty good and enables him to hold his head up in the dps meters
3. He's tiny enough that I'm sure most people don't notice the mismatching, and if I zoom all the way out I can almost forget about it.
4. Itemrack means that the respectable tank gear is only "a click away"
