Offline for a few days

Posted 04-04-2008 at 02:01 AM by Shorty
So the day is almost finally here ... I move house (well, flat) on Saturday. A move of over 100 miles to suburban London (if that isn't too much of a contradiction in terms). If all goes according to plan I'll be back online Monday/Tuesday and maybe even with a brand new raid-viable computer --- then to decide if I can and want to get back into raiding.

This week I've been mainly running a rogue, hunter, ret pally, mage, lock and warrior through the 3 SSO dailies which stand a chance of giving BoJ's -- before you panic three of those characters are my husbands, who's away this week. Our server now has an operational portal to the island and are about 60% of the way through Stage 2, so I hope to be back online before or soon after the start of Stage 3.

My mage got her third pair of shoulders in under a week (typical female) - ones from normal mgt, tier 4 and now the ones from heroic mgt. Shorty is still looking for the melee trinket, and has been through some successful and some unsuccessful runs - the third boss doesn't like our priests very much

The littlest gnome got her pvp boots last night. The near AV seems a little odd on our server, alternate between getting 500+ honour to <150 during the same night. Some of the horde have taken to defending tower point, in force, meaning anything up to 8 horde. She's now over 200 resilience and hopefully we can squish our weeks arena into Tuesday night and she might be able to get her gloves.

Fortunately the dailies I've chosen to do don't require too much killing of things. I'm not bad on the pally - used to use him for mining; or the rogue - sneak, stun, kill. But the hunters a fairly new level 70 and I have a fatal flaw when it comes to hunters - I right-click monsters. I'm sure this is due to that fact that I started as Shorty, never realised it was a problem til guildies giggled at me in 5 mans with my mage. But on a mage and lock it doesn't make any non-appearance difference, a hunter on the other hand ... let's just say we've had a few near misses.

Oh well, time to disconnect the modem and pack up the computers - wishing you all a good weekend and see you next week.
