I'll preface this by saying that Shorty is a tank and always will be, but part of who I am is giving 110% of myself to anything, this is simultaneously my greatest strength and greatest weakness. But in terms of Shorty this means going out of my way to collect a good dps gear set. On Sunday night I ran Kara for the first time in a couple of months - it was a smooth, run with the odd hiccup due to a mage pulling Maiden before we were ready and the odd other dead squishy. Due to an OT who needed to buy a new mouse, I solo tanked Attumen for the first time which was quite exciting; we killed Curator during his first evoc and smoothly sailed throgh the rest. My hubby was playing his rogue for the first time for ages and was interested to see how his dps fared so I recorded the run and wws'ed it afterwards. Shorty's tanking wasn't the best, rage was a little spiky despite being in threat gear for most of it, plus I've never tanked with this OT before so we were a bit uncertain around each other, but on Aran Shorty excelled - without sharpening stones, pots or an enhance shammy; plus I was interupting frost spells; he managed 1025dps!!!! This is a personal best and I was really chuffed.

The guild

We've lost a few more people, although our 3 officers have yet to find a new raiding home for their mains, they are still looking. A couple of other "raiders" have decided to stay and focus on pvp, alts or just to relax before WotLK. We didn't manage to run ZA over the weekend, our internet collapsed and tonight's run is missing healers, which I can see is going to be our major problem. Some nights there are very few of us online, a lot of people who haven't moved guilds I think are just taking it easy, but so far we've managed to hold our heads up high and maintained good relationships with both those who have left and those who remain.

Titch

The littlest druid has hit 54 and is heading off to Western Plaguelands, her biggest problem at the moment is trying to keep her leatherworking moving forward and I can foresee a major grind through the animal population of Winterspring in a few levels time to get her all the rugged leather she needs.

Nice work!

healers and tanks are usually the main issue unfortunately (until you are in sunwell anyway, then it becomes everything, lol) and since you are a tank and you are dedicated, its just healers; just one less problem to deal with really.

Keep that ball rolling and just have fun!
