Chase gear...part II

I return after a long hiatus from writing...and want to post about the same topic I last posted about - Chase gear. Gear you look for and just never see drop. In my last post I mentioned the fabled Shermaner Great Ring. I have a new piece that replaces it.
Pride of the Eredar - tanking cloak from Normal 25 Jaraxxus
I don't believe it exist. My guild has cleared it every week we've been able. Not a single cloak. I'd be ok if it dropped and another of my guild tanks won it. However it just won't drop. I think we DE'd two of the drops from Jaraxxus last night. Yet still sitting at 0 cloak drops...tear.
But in better news, the other remaining drop I was looking for - Satrina's Impeding Scarab dropped and I won it for a default bid - so I only have one piece left to chase.

Chasing stuff just leads to stomach ulchers.
Pick up what you can get during progression. Individual pieces don't have that big an impact that you can say "I can't get past boss X without item Y". Thankfully it hardly works that way.
I chased the turkey slicer ToC5 sword and it didn't change everything apart from me feeling slightly sick when looking at it. Took me 26 runs to get it. Took me 5 second to be utterly sick of the sight of that thing.Posted 11-05-2009 at 02:37 AM by Mačl 
- I got some upgrade last night. After an eternity of no drops from anywhere for a shield I've replaced my CoS Shield with the drop from Anub 10. Crazy Cat Lady can suck on it. I also got a gleaming Quel Serrar that very same night ^_^.
