One Week a Year

Posted 03-03-2008 at 08:33 AM by Horacio
Actually, it was only 3 and a half days but they sucked. We have to do an annual equipment apprasial for the benefit of the financing company who holds the notes on the majority of our equipment. And for the last two years, I have had to run the appraiser around to all the job sites while he kicks tires, checks serial numbers, takes pictures, etc. Being that its highway construction, the jobsites are spread all over south Texas and so, in 3 days, I drove 1400 miles to see 340 something pieces of...

Posted 03-02-2008 at 03:11 PM by Horacio

So last night after 8 hours and 3 BM runs, I hit exalted with keepers of time.

[item]Timelapse Shard[/item] and the +15 agility enchant to gloves recipe are MINE at last.

And no, the BM runs didn't take 8 hours, finding people willing to run CoT anything took 8 hours.

As icing on the cake, right before I logged some guildies grabbed me as I was doing quests to replenish funds and we ran the heroic daily, so I got the badges for [item]Brooch of Deftness[/item]...

Dagger is not necessarily a dirty word

Posted 03-01-2008 at 02:19 PM by Satrina

Source: Some random retard on the WoW Warrior Forums
Daggers are bad tanking weapons because your special attacks are normalized at 1.7 instead of 2.4 which is big reduction in damage and therefore is a big reduction in threat.
Let's have a look at Devastates with Grom'tor's Charge vs. Blade of the Unrequited,...

The Next Step in Warrior Tanking Evolution?

Posted 02-29-2008 at 02:11 PM by veneretio
I've been thinking lately on the Devastate change and just how important it was to have one less ability to worry about when tanking.

I simply don't think it could be an enjoyable experience for most people if we had too many abilities to use. The fact is that rotations in some way, shape or form must exist and hogging the global cooldown with yet another ability is tough. Which poses an interesting dilemma for level 80.

Are they going to add complexity or simplify?...
