WoW related: Not much, haven't played that much, the pally on my 3's sold his char and i'm grinding honor so i can pick up stuff on tuesday, other than that, it's been pretty average. I even considered selling my warrior and retiring from wow, but, meh, who knows.

Well i figured i would go ahead and write something in here for once since i had a bit of downtime and a very interesting day today.

AS soon as i got off work and logged into my account today one of my buddies whispered me and asked if i wanted to do a heroic. This friend of mine has always been of the highest quality and skill and so i very rarely turn him down for an opportunity to tank. Then he hit me with a bombshell. He asked me to DPS!

So, after a day that lasted 48 hours, i can finally sit down and actually look back to the longest day of my life.

This day started on wednesday, around 2~3 PM, when i got 3 consecutive calls about the same thing: My dad had a transit accident and he was on his way to the hospital. Now, the usual reaction would've been "Holy crap! how is he!!"... but... i had a feeling already that something happened to my dad, and that, though serious, he was ok.

Bound the scroll wheel on the mouse (aka middle button) to move backwards. Not being a awsd keyboard turner, I used to struggle moving backwards. It was always awkward to find the down arrow since my left hand rarely leaves the left edge of the keyboard (especially with my G15). One day I did it and within a day I found it natural and second nature. I can easily spam my attacks/shield block while taking the mob/boss on a merry journey, all the while moving backwards.

Gas Prices are in the crapper right now. Even if you do not own a car, you're paying more for other goods because most things are delivered to retailers via truck.

Here's some perspective for you. I own a highway construction company with my family. Its a big company. In the first quarter of 2008 we used ~93,000 gallons of diesel.

I have ideas on solutions but they would threaten to introduce politics and we don't need that here. But I assure you, this is rather painful....
