I just had my first Ramparts run as i dinged 60 last night and specced prot because i'm leveling with a warlock friend and he's pulling aggro all the time, i stand beside the mob with no rage crying.

I don't think i am a good tank right now and it seems a lot harder than i actually imagined it, 2 mobs usually work fine but the groups with several casters just screwed me up. I go in there trying to TC and Cleave myself some AOE-Aggro and shieldslam the 1st target but ... the shadowbolts...

Going to give a little overview of tonight's raid. For the first time in about two months, our guild went to the Black Temple. We've had some problems with signs due to exams and people not being active. After about a month of no raiding at all (except some Zul'Aman and Karazhan runs), we went to Serpentshrine Caverns and Tempest Keep, mainly to gear up some new raiders and give everyone some confidence again. It's been a while since I did a good solid QQ blog entry, I might as well talk about the one that killed one of our rogues on shade of akama tonight.

We're on akama, three tanks, I have east side, the other feral has west side, prot warrior in the middle, classic formation, we usually do it lightning fast.

We went into ZA again this week, and we did decently. No timed events, not even any new bosses down. Heck, we even skipped a boss we know we can down. But it was fun. I wasn't leading this time, and we had all of our A-Listers. Everybody's favorite ret pally Qadash even got in on the action for Eagle.

So.. Citadel is a casual raiding guild. We currently raid Fri / Sat, and recently have been focusing on ZA on Sundays. We've got the numbers to do Gruul's... barely. I'm just torn as to whether we are ready. We've been running Kara for about 2 months or more, and we've got some people that are well geared, even beyond starting Gruul's. Problem is... we've also got quite a few that aren't. We were running 2 Kara teams at one point but quite a few were alts from one team. We've grown more since then...
