So, I'm trying out this google chrome thing. Shiny. I can't say there's lots of buttons because there aren't. in fact, the thing is so low footprint it actually scares me, I like it. this blog post was written in it.

That said... Tonight was an exercise in absurdity. I went into 2's with a friend and his rogue. We went 18-17, barely breaking even at 1508. We were both in PVE gear.

I threw together a ZA pug yesterday. Yeah, I know, not the greatest of ideas but meh. I had a few good friends in there and some Pugs off the street. Healing was decent, though we had 3 healers. I thought tanking (me and a buddy on his pally alt) was strong but our DPS was....ewww....

I knew that going in so I threw on my fury gear for the Eagle boss and let my buddy tank. And on the first 2 pulls I led the damage meter. Yikes....yeah, our DPS was that weak.

Last night I was rather dismayed at my guilds DPS on Archimonde. We kept wiping until the raid was called. It is a fight where DPS is less important than dying, but we usually chip away at his health at a decent rate.

Some attempts I was 6th or 7th in dps, and:
-prot spec
-dps gear is mostly season 3/badge
-keeping commanding shout up, no battle shout in group
-keeping demo shout up
-no windfury
-stamina food
-my battle elixir: Juju...

I've finally gotten to a point where I'm fairly happy with my DPS on my mage. I recently forsake 3 years of fire spec to go arcane and I don't regret it....I am just having hella mana problems.

And yeah, this is the third character I've taken up to Kara+ raiding level and feel confident I could step into a raid and perform well with.

Just a couple days ago on the 29th of August I posted some figures for the box office. As of Labor Day it seems that Batman broke the $500 million mark that we've all been expecting it to for some time... and in half the time that it took Titanic to. Unfortunately we live in a different day and age than previously... movies leave theaters much faster and are released into our homes much sooner, so any chances I think this movie has at surpassing Titanic in theaters is fairly hopeless.
