A long time ago I read about threat sets and it was suggested that SBV was an excellent stat to stack for threat. GL was on farm for us late last year, so hardly a new accomplishment, but to 1-shot Maulgar, Gruul, and Magtheridon in under two hours is a pretty big step for us, and one that'll definitely give everyone a boost of confidence. So much of succesful team activity is the "expectation to win." Good teams always believe they're going to win and don't accept failure. This should give us strong momentum going into Thursday's SSC run where the goal is to clear through FLK.

• When "wipe it up" is called in the raid, don't try to run away if the boss isn't resettable and you don't have an aggro dump (ie. everyone that isn't a Hunter, Mage, Rogue, Warlock?). Warriors, please just stand there and take it so the healers don't have to track all over for your corpse.
• "Hold DPS" means STOP DPSing. You'll get a chance again very soon I promise.
• When you get aggro, run TO the tank, not away.
• If you get aggro on Hydross, please be on the proper side

My farming woes in Magister's Terrace aside, last week proved to be another excellent week raiding.

First visit was to Magtheridon to see the nerfed version. Yep, he was, so we finally got that monkey off our back (previous attempts with an at the time allied guild never quite worked out).

Fast forward to SSC where while Hydross continues to make me wonder about people, Lurker was one-shotted and we finally downed Morogrim (also a 1-shot). Having two Prot Pallies...
