An Introduction
I figured I'd start things off with a quick introduction. As you've probably guessed, my character's name is Pathis, who's currently a Fury Warrior in <Chaos> of Feathermoon. You might know the guild tag from my GM who has a blog here, Caulle. You can find that here: http://www.tankspot.com/forums/blogs/caulle/
After finding out about her blog, she suggested making one of my own on this website, except from the perspective of a DPS warrior. I figured it will help pass the time, plus it means I can rant a little!
As far as tanking goes, before joining <Chaos>, I was previously a raiding protection warrior. I was actually the MT of the beginning stages of the <Chaos> raid in MC before leaving and eventually transferring to Rexxar to form <Oracle> which was the most progressed guild on that server Pre-BC, clearing MC, BWL, AQ40, and the Spider and Abomination Wings of Naxx.
After <Oracle> fell apart a few months prior to BC due to roster issues, I joined the now defunct <Illumination> of Turalyon, which was at the time one of the top raiding guilds in the US. I eventually quit Illumination to focus on my senior year of high school, but found myself with free time and transferred back to Feathermoon, joining Chaos.
It wasn't until the second week of November when I was asked if I was interesting in trying out as a Fury Warrior for the <Chaos> raid group. Aside from leveling as Fury in TBC (Twice, I might add, Thanks to getting into Beta!), I had little to no experience with the spec. It didn't take too long to find the information I seeked about the spec, as there are tons of places to look regarding Fury DPS spec and gear.
I've been raiding with <Chaos> since then, constantly trying to improve my DPS while retaining the skills I had when I was a tank, which I have been called upon to do on certain occasions, such as when Caulle can't make the raid or for Phase 2 of the Illidan encounter. As refreshing as it is to do again, I am now focused primarily on pushing my DPS in preparation for such encounters as Brutallus.
In either case I look forward to making future posts and perhaps getting a comment or two in return!
