Casual Meat-wall Ruud the Noob

Well well well. Despite the fact that they are both melee classes, playing a warrior is vastly different from playing a rogue. The biggest challenge that I can see myself facing in trying to become a good warrior is the sheer amount of stance-dancing required to make use of the class's tools effectively. I've already started carefully planning out my keybinds; I don't want to hit level 70 and have to relearn everything. I'm not knocking the rogue class, but I'm impressed at how much more warriors have to handle. As a rogue it was usually just Hemo/SS to get CP, keep slice and dice up, rupture 90% of the time. Of course, good rogues are Johnny-on-the-spot the other 10% of the time as well, but it seems to me so far that warriors require a bit more situational awareness as opposed to reaction speed.
It's not just a matter of, "Oh no, I need to use kick! Press kick button! Not enough energy!? Ok, now I have enough. Kick button!" It's a bit different when you see the enemy's heal coming, but you have to shift to def stance, build enough rage, and then bash it. Anticipation is required. And I'm a Noob all over again.
In any case, I've decided to level as DW Fury, while strapping on a board when running instances. As for professions, I've taken Herbalism and Alchemy; potions are convenient while leveling, and it's not a money sink like BS, Eng, and Enchanting. Since this is a fresh start on this server, I don't have a bank roll yet; if I want to change professions, I'll do it at 70 and power-level up whatever. Odds are good that I will stick with Herb/Alch, unless someone manages to sell me on something else
But I've already had one great stroke of fortune, in that the recipe for Savory Deviate Delight dropped for me. The food itself is going for 1g a pop, 20g a stack. Which is good, because warriors need equipment, and equipment costs money!
My travels this week were through Red Cloud Mesa, Mulgore proper, and off into the Barrens. I would like to do WC this week, and reach at least level 25.
