From prot to ret to prot to ret...

This is a somewhat interesting update to my raid life...
Instead of trial by fire, it is trial by pit lord...
For the past year almost ive been a paladin tank through and through. 1 month ago I tried retribution got my gear up to scratch and performed fairly well. The guild disbanded I went back to prot in order to find a guild ofcourse.
So I take a chance on " Recruiting paladins of all specs" after joining a guild as prot. I sent my prot, ret and holy stats and made the app decent. I got asked to join as retribution.
Now theres some ironic irony that I just went from reliquary of souls wipes to a brutallus kill. Bellieve me im over the moon..
oops i skipped 5 bosses! And now I think i'll get the progression type raiding ive been after for 2 years...Im undergeared do realise that but...heres the wws for my new guilds first brutallus kill

im happy i was able to contribute 2 judgements, blessings and still push out a dps level that is 'decent'.
I loved tanking but now I am needed and wanted as ret. Open minded people, a nice raid enviroment Im prety happy. Hope this continues so far looks very promising

 |  Nice to hear that good news from you. About the new retribution spree is because the stacked raiding required for Sunwell progression. You always want to have the 3 minimum buffs from paladins, but you don't have room for 3 holy paladins so you need to look for alternatives. The usual is to have a retribution pally on Brutallus and Twins, and a protection one in M'uru and Felmyst. If your new guild doesn't already have one I suggest you to offer yourself to respec (if you are willing to) for each fight accordingly. Usual the guild bank pays those respecs but I can't promise xDDD Good luck with ur Sunwell progression |

| |  Grats to you! I respecced Prot to Ret to Prot last night for farming and then to help out in Mount Hyjal. I might have my guild sold on having a Retribution Paladin in raids... Carry on the good work in convincing others that Paladins can do anything! |
