This weekend I made a big decision to Main swap from my Warrior tank to play a DK tank on our Raid Team. It was quite a surprise to alot of people since they have been used to seeing me on that toon since we walked into the Outlands. I did not make the swap because I think that DKs are completely superior to warriors. I did it because I have been enjoying learning and playing a new class. And partially because we did not have a full time DK Tank on our raid team.
The DK is very versatile and fun to play. I will miss alot of the fun stuff my warrior has, the 310 mount, titles etc. Hes geared to the teeth, has a bank full of Prot and DPS gear and weapons from months of farming Naxx. My DK is not quite as geared but has had zero trouble tanking anything my warrior has done. >< Its neat-o and bit annoying at the same time lol. I can see lots of differences in the way both classes do things, but they can both do the job well. All and all, I'm excited to really get to know the class as I move into Uldar.

Its funny as I level my dk I can see quests and fights that would have killed my warrior, or required plenty of help....and I am easily solo'ing on my dk, and at a lower level. I don't know if I will ever swap mains, but I can definitely see how much fun playing a dk could be.Posted 04-13-2009 at 11:12 AM by Tatt 
- Take that with a grain of salt, Tatt, since leveling has gotten easier across the board. Any class should be able to level at greater speed than pre-WotLK. I do agree, though, a well played DK is a powerhouse when doing solo questing.
Posted 04-14-2009 at 05:29 AM by Bryenne - the game in general only gets easier and easier, give it a few months and dk's will be able to solo lvl 80 heroics, 5 hours after creating the toon at lvl 55. :P
