First things first http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c5...309_191920.jpg

On to buisness...

So in my last post I was all QQ guild sux, well turns out i wasnt the only one who thought this, namely my GM a few officers and a handful of members are equally annoyed by the sheer lack of willingness to progress, so after wednesdays raid (i use the term loosely) I get a tell from the gm explaning his plan to leave the guild and restart anew avec some of our more competant members and asks if im willing to go to, I accepted in a heartbeat.

Apparantly the plan was to expalin to the current officers what was going to happen then leave on next reset, hopefully giveing them the chance to gear some new tanks + dps so they could continure to raid, they chose to shoot themselves (and us admittedly) in the foot and asked the gm and the officers involved to leave that night, so were 14 memebers at the minuite, and we've decided its time to do things hardcore, no crap, no babysitting, no excuses, if you cant pull the dps your gone, if you dont have the rapair money your out, all welcome changes.

So we had our first (allbeit last minuite and slightly intrusive, more on that in a sec) Ulduar 10 run and it went well, its clear that if we had flasks, food etc and a choice of our dps instead of make doing we would have pissed over some of the hards modes we attempted, my gear is truly shining at the minuite and im enjoying the praise.

But back to my picture and the intrusive nature of the raid, The gm and I were in a naxx25 raid at the time, unfotunately, the Uld was unplanned and pretty much got decided on as we downed patchwerk, and after me winning said item in picture..... needless to say the raid wasnt to happy, we explained that it was unplanned and we appoligised profusly to the affected raid, and argued we were only two members, and could be replaces fairly promptly, and so some moron begins whipering me DEMANDING to know who my GM is, i explained the kitty that also had to leave was my GM, and appoligised for the nature of our departure, he then says (qouted) " you only came for the shield didnt you? you got your loot and now your gone, im putting you on a blacklist", now admittedly i'd be lying if i said i hadnt come for the shield, but what about the other 40 odd tank items in the raid? Last laugh for example? Wall of terror? hell im annoyed i couldnt stay in all honesty, their were trinkets i could have done with aqiuring that run, but to say i only came for a shield, that tbh gets outdated as soon as an ulduar one drops? idm if you have an opinion, hell idm if you dont like my playstyle, but L2FP before you begin accusing members of things, i still have a crappy helm, shoulders are poorly itemised, cape could be better, and many others that would have been remedied in a few bosses time, honestly, not to mention (he was a dk btw) said member had rolled on a tank ring, with SBV and SB green stats before.

But alas Ive gone on to long, what do you think? should i have not raided ulduar with my guild? was i really that evil? hell my gear is horrendously overpowered for Naxx 25 anyway, to the point that for the last 20% i was solo tanking patch with all melee dead just popping my trinket and shieldwall.

I dunno i feel we did right by appoligising as we did and leaving sooner rather than in ten mins before a boss pull.

Meh peace out

Why did you join a raid just to go away when there's something better on the horizon?

Especially after getting a nice upgrade then leaving is really really shitty for the rest.

    You did the wrong thing.
    YOU were the moron.

I Ddsagree with orcstar. I feel that the guild should comee first in your situation. As it is only recently formed and obviously feels that you are an important part. Yes it sucks that you had to leave the naxx 25 run, but it would have sucked even more not being there for your guild.

Also, glad that you found a way of sticking with the people you enjoyed and ditching the people who you didnt, sounds like you got a pretty sweet deal.

Wow feel the hate from Orcstar.

So what if you had to leave a Naxx 25 run, people drop in and out of those things all the time.

    GL with the new guild.

You don't join a raid and then just leave it.
You either come for the full run or you don't come at all.

I hate quitters like that. You take away the fun from 23 other people.

The run was sorted at the last minuite though, I wanted to finish naxx off (I assume you even read the blog?) I admittedly feel bad for leaving the raid, but a tank and a dps arent hard to repalce, its not like i took half the raid with me, if you pug you expect it to happen, if you don't, your just pants on head retarded, no offence
