Guess what? I still havent got a new shield >.< What the hell is wrong with this game? it's probbably my biggest gear let down as it stands, and no shield drops!!
So ive ran everything so far (Bar uld 10 man, thats tonight) Patchwerk, no shield (dropped another frigging fleshless girdle, i have 4 now) Malygos, No shield, KT, no shield (he did drop a Last Laugh though, but i conceded it to the other warrior tank and i had legacy of thunder and he had the red sword) Hodir last night no shield.
Tanknig is hard enough without the drops being so damn skewed all the time, 99% of the time the difference in dps beteween heroic gear and raid drops is minimal (bar some obvious example) But tank gear realy does make the difference, a new shield a new weapon the effects of said upgrades are obvious staright away, Im not asking for a ll three shields, i Just want one of them, i dont care anymore, just anything better than my damn emblem thing!!

Well, if all else fails, you could buy Northern Barrier off the auction house.

- I have seen just about every tank drop in Ulduar 10, whereas another tank I know, who also runs Ulduar 10 weekly, has only seen 4 drops. The emblem thing is cool, I'd be happy with it (I never bought it, due to getting the Titansteel shield and needing many other Emblem items).

I've been tanking Ulduar, Naxx, and EoE for quite a long time now. Every other shield tank in my guild has like 4-5 shields, either for different setups, or just for vanity. I have never seen a shield drop except once, which went to the prot pally. I get tells on a regular basis from people wondering why I'm still using the Titansteel Shield Wall with all my other nice Uld gear. I run EoE and Uld 10 every week and pray it will drop, but at this point, it's almost become a point of amusement for me that I can't seem to find a shield. It's ceased to be painful, especially since I appear to be pretty capable with the Titansteel.Posted 07-17-2009 at 11:46 AM by Reev - Yeah I ran around with the crafted Titansteel shield for months. Then I had an invite to a pug and decided to buy the shield from badges, the same night the wall of KT dropped.
I still got the red sword though

poor gnomesPosted 07-17-2009 at 07:45 PM by Gordonoth - I'm having the same issue. Tank weapons elude me, too. I've run Uld-10/Naxx/EoE/Sarth, all of it, no shield drops, no tank weap drops. I got the tank axe from the tourney atm.
