Blizzard have killed all we have worked so hard for.

At least, I can do some nice achievements. That's the only fun thing there is still in the game. >.<

And I will roll my gnome warrior in WotLK, no other tank.
Said unless Blizzard completely destroy the class, then I will roll Gnome Deathknight.

It's not about the class, it's about the race.
Currently I don't see myself playing another race but a gnome.

Sorry for all those gnome-haters, but for me the only option aside gnomes are draenei female (with a robe please) and blood elf male (correction: BE are females or less females, but there is no male ones). But, tbh..... is there possible to be more cutest than a little gnomie with TWO INSANELY BIG TWO HANDERS in her back?
NO

And then.... M'uru died

2 months after our first step onto the door of M'uru, the corrupted naaru and fifth boss of Sunwell Plateau, it has finally saved.

Something you probably would not know, in Spanish, M'uru has almost the same spelling as the word 'muro' which means 'wall'. Coincidence? Nahh xDDD

Certain a wall, probably the hardest boss of the expansion, a serious guild killer and we have almost fallen apart because of it.
We lost almost 10 core raiders, full sunwell equipped. We had to call off a lot of nights because we lacked people. And even with all this despair, we managed to wipe it forever.

I'm sad about the nerf. I'm sad because I think we could have killed it before it. Now I know we could have not. We have lost A LOT of good players with full gear before killing Eredar Twins. When some of the top guild raid with 2-3 set of glaives, gul'dans, etc.... our guild barely had 25 ppl with all the tier6 pieces (in fact, I started raiding Sunwell with just 3/8 T6 :S).
Last week was even worse. We had a lot of sub-10% wipes. If all those guys would not have left the guild, that 10% could have been their damage and healing.....

Well, enough for a rant, it's time to cheering up.
We are now so close for the game over as a guild, but as a player I think I will miss the Kil'jaeden fight. I have some IRL matters to attend and it's hard for me to attend every day like I always did.
Who knows if I will be able to see Kil'jaeden die at my feet, but M'uru has been enough for me and I'm really happy that, even with the last boss still alive, I have made my "Game over" already ^_^

I hope that WotLK pve will be even better than TBC one.

Talking about pve.... I'm still wondering which class I will be carrying in next expansion. If I would be playing in the alliance, it will be my gnome warrior for sure. Now that I play horde, it's hard to decide which toon to use. Seriously, I can't really acept any warrior that is not my gnome (I've fallen in love). There is also three really good warriors in the guild aswell and none is gonna reroll.
So my decision must be, first of all, which side to play, and if it's horde, which class: retribution paladin, tankadin or feral druid.

Thanks for reading!

No, there is one that is gonna make you cry:

While in one of the DK starting area quests, you are sent to steal a horse you will be using to create your mount. In the place where you steal the horse, there is some little horses between the adult ones. Sometimes, a tiny horse (baby?) appears, and there you go! GNOEM MOUNT!!!!oneone

                                      Illidan.

6.5 _______ 59,900 60% Illidan, beginning Sunwell.
---------
La lista superior es la Vida Efectiva y la Evasión mínimas recomendadas para cada instance. Para que sea lo más fiable además tienen que mantenerse los siguientes requisitos:

* Eres el Main Tank, o el encargado de tankear los bosses donde se recibe mayor daño físico;
* Raideas con gente que tiene un gear equivalente al tuyo;
* Irás recibiendo mejoras de gear a medida que progresas a través de la instance.

No, this time I won't be talking about how hard is to make all ur raid to execute 100% in every try. We are having hard time on M'uru regarding that, but I'm very satisfied with the results. Even with our average 35% phase 1, we improve each day and we notice that going well. We just need some phases 2 to learn, but first we need to down phase 1 with zero casualties. Maybe this reset.

Back to the topic, I'm talking about Executioner, the enchant. Yes I know that maybe my gear was better suited for Mongoose but this new look of my paladin really rock hard with executioner and, even with getting some bad results at first, when I can manage to finish my gear I know this will be the enchant I need to have, so I don't mind.

Here is the pic:

Yes, I know I need to change the gloves as T4 fits very poorly with the rest, but I bet you would like your girlfriend be as hot as me!

Btw, and finishing my OTing. I'm working in some fast guides for tanking all bosses in Hyjal, BT and Sunwell. If you are Spanish and don't mind to wait, I will start before the end of the month (we have some free days at the end: San Juan!) sooo stay tuned!

Shield Slam trainable

I've been following the current WotLK alpha leaks and I must admit I was very satisfied with the way the warrior protection was coming.
They reduced the cooldowns of the oh-shit-buttons to the minimum, increased the capability of burst aggro (we will have a talent that decreases the rage cost and cooldown of Shield Slam any time we deal damage with either SS or Devastate) and the utility of Shield Bash and Thunderclap as their damage will increase with Ap.
This way they will also have open a path into itemization, by putting again STR in our tanking sets.

Last days, however, the Alpha got a big patch with a lot of Death Knight changes and with one big change to our protection maneuvers. I'm refering to a Shield Block change:

---Quote---
Shield Block - Increases your chance to block and the amount blocked by 100% for 5 sec, but will only block 1 attack. 30 sec cooldown.
---End Quote---
This new shield block, can have its cd reduced to 20 via new talents.
This is creeping me off. Warriors will be open again to crushing blows regardless their gear or... maybe they are removing the crushing blows for the rest of the game.
The second option would have some logic, as Death Knights have no viable chance of getting rid of crushings and they won't have that massive amount of armor druids have to mitigate them....
But if warriors are open to CBs... what would be their use in MT raiding? They have some cooldowns yeh, but Bears mitigation is far superior and the good thing we always had is that we had very low chances of getting bursted, not like druids have.

However we are still on Alpha state, so it's a bit early to start pondering about the new talents and abilities. I do really hope to get a beta so I can test the new posibilities of the four tanking classes before the next expansion comes out so I can choose to level one or another to Main Tanking the next HE raiding.

Btw, about the topic title:
At the current Alpha, all warriors would have the Shield Slam ability trainable. The Shield Slam talent has been replaced with an ability that makes you buff an ally with 5% dodge, and anytime that ally get hits, your taunt cooldown will refresh.
I must say is a very nice ability. Not only you can save ur buddies lifes if you get your taunt resisted; you can also buff another tank with +5% dodge, and even get limitless taunts while doing so (as long as you don't taunt the other tank mob xD).

Very nice additions I must say. ^_^

A month ago a friend stopped playing. He was using an account under my name (a gift of mine when I stopped playing horde ^^) so it was no problem to transfer back my old chars to my horde account. It's nice to have them again as I have some old memories tied to them, but I must admit the feelings about the priest are odd. It's like when your children leaves home and return 10 years back with a family; when I gave away my priest it was just lvl50 :D

Anytime I logged on my horde chars, my horde guild always told me that I should reroll and raid with them. At first I was neglecting them, but two weeks ago they lost 3 shadow priest in a row and they were having major problems to find good raiding setups.
It was no fun to arrive home and see my GF's sad face telling me "We had to cancel after 1 hour of wiping".

So around 10 days ago, I was at my mother's house talking with my brother, my gf and this friend about some things (wow among them). They told me that if I was missing that much raiding (which I was) I should return to the game. I already had decided to stop tanking until TBC: I really LOVE tanking, but I cba to get burned again. So Narshe was not an option to return.
"Why don't you reroll horde?"
"It's the same as alliance, I have a paladin or warrior. I don't like fury warrs or healadins, and nobody wants a retribution pally"
"You also have a priest, isn't it?"
....
True... My new (old) priest is there, awaiting a paid transfer back to C'thun.

And this is where I am.
Raiding again with a priest, something that I've never tried outside 5 man. And I must admit I'm liking it. It's not the amazing fun of tanking but... raiding is my place on wow, and regardless of the class, I would play at my best!
New race, new class, new guildies. I hope I will enjoy my new career at least half of my previous one. At least my girlfriend is happy with the change, as we are playing in the same guild again ^_^

We are kicking Sunwell, fighting again for the First Server Kills and hoping we will able to face Kil'jaeden as soon as the door is lifted even we are slight behind the top HE guild around the world: we just downed Eredar Twins and most guilds are about to kill M'uru.
But it's still progression, so it's fine.

See you soon guys!

A week ago I decided to stop my raiding completely.
I even told my GF to change my acc's password so I won't get tempted again.

I kinda have some feelings for my guild, as I left them with just 1 protection warrior and 2 feral druids (well, our GM told me he has another prot warr and a paladin to join soon so at first I thought I wasn't gonna hurt the guild as I did).

Now I just log from time to time with my horde chars and make one of two daily quest or some heroic instance with my GF.

I must admit I miss raiding but the last week with no raids has been like a new breeze to me.

Maybe I just needed some disconection from the HE raiding or this is a prelude to my final quit of this game.

I think I'm gonna try AoC, as the graphics are awesome and seems like a new concept of game I've yet to try: it's not DAoC nor WoW.
This is also a very good excuse to buy a new machine :P

So I wanted to say this is not a goodbye, as I will continue to troll the forums and lurk around.

It's easy, we started invites at 20.00 or so (I was at work and don't know what hour was the first pull).

At 21:00 or so, we started our first attempt at Kalecgos that night.

But.... at 20:50 a soccer match starts on TV (more info here http://www.marca.com/marcador/futbol/2007_08/uefa/cuartos/vuelta/get_bay/asilovivimos.html)

Lack of focus, stupid mistakes, people not hearing the vent because their family/friends/relatives are shouting things at TV.....
A complete disaster...

Burn.. that's what I got last night.
Because I don't care a shit about soccer.
Because I do care about losing 4 hours a night.
Because Kalecgos should have been killed on Wednesday.
Because we did have VERY GOOD attempts yesterday night, but people watching tv did not let us to do.

My time is running out · · ·
If things don't change today, I'd rather stop now for once, that getting burnt of the game forever.

Sorry for the rant, but I needed to shout or write this somewhere · · · · :(

2 Weeks ; 2 Days

2 days of raiding since the 2.4 patch. I'm getting more and more bored of this game.
I remember when I played DAoC, I could do anything I want, not what Mythic wants me to do. I mean, you could do BGs, relic raids, 'roaming pvp', pve content, pve raids, farming, crafting (it required a lot of time) and even playing with the player housing.
With each patch Blizzard has settled what you MUST do, or else, you can't do anything. Generally you have a raid instance, some new area and something new in arena or bgs. That means if you finish all new quest (should take you 1 week max.) and have already all the pvp thingies (honor capped or full arena gear) it only leaves you the new instance to finish the new content.... WOAH! 6 months to clear a instance like Black Temple (took us 1 month to clear and we don't raid much) or 3 months to clear Zul'aman (4 hours our first run >.<). Hey, you can also do it with your alters! Yes, sure I can do it with one of my 7x70s that I have leveled just because you Blizz suck at new content that the only "amazing" stuff I can do is to level another char.

Some of you have already read or written of lack of content and I also join the wagon.

Talking about DAoC I started downloading it yesterday. Hopefully it will be finished today and I can play with one of those beta acounts for 14 days. Pvp at lvl 24 was great fun!

Now back to the topic.
2 days of 14..... I joined the first day of our Kalecgos tries, and been the first day we downed it. I have done near to zero attempts to Brutalus.
Yes, I know it's not our Raid Leader's fault that he is another prot warr and we can only have one. But it's kinda disappointing having preparing myself for 3 months, gathering info, gearing properly.... to have to step aside for druids who have very bad skill at playing a tank (more lack of focus than skill but still...).

So in those "free days" I've been playing the PSP game Final Fantasy 7: Crisis Core.
It's very nice, also very sad story.
It's about what happened before FF7, when Sephirot becomes mad, and Zack meets Cloud and those thingies. If you liked FF7 or Advent children I recomend you this game because is full of FF7 lore.
Image: http://www.tankspot.com/photoplog/images/490/large/1_11.jpg

After beaten the game, I've reestarted to play Patapon in those free days. I hope I finish it in the next days....
...well, no. I hope I won't have time to play PSP again because of being busy raiding. But as it's not gonna happen I will have to play something else.

If not, Im gonna have definitely to quit the game as I'm having zero enjoyment currently.

Best regards and sorry if I've messed a bit the lenguage :D

...well, no. I hope I won't have time to play PSP again because of being busy raiding. But as it's not gonna happen I will have to play something else.

If not, Im gonna have definitely to quit the game as I'm having zero enjoyment currently.

Best regards and sorry if I've messed a bit the lenguage :D
