Week #4, Ulduar 10.

FL hard mode is always a 2-shot. Most of the time is just bad luck. But recipie dropped and we tanks are happy with new belt.

X-002 is a joke now that we have pinpointed the position where to tank it and no adds spawn from that side. We will start working on hard mode.

Razorscale is becoming easy as we go. We have had a string of "no sentinel" encounters which makes the whole thing trivial. Bring AoE for EZ mode. Don't think...

It has been a year or so since I posted to this blog. Mostly because I rerolled Horde and had 2 server transfers. But one thing is still the same: I tank, therefore I am.

Anyway, being in a guild with folks I know in RL is the coolest thing ever. Every lunch we have at work is a planning session for the raid. Oh my, after typing that I realize we must sound like freaking no life geeks... maybe we are, but we have fun with it.

Anyway, Since WotLK we have had so much...

So there I am, at Illhoof's door... and one of my dps and one healer leave group.

I understand the dps'er had to go, but the healer... a very good healer too, was having computer issues. Waiting for 1 hour while all the issues were resolved took a lot of my timing. Yet I held Illhoof in place during the 3 wipes. The adds and the chains did us in.

In a way it was very educational. I have never been to Illhoof before, so I learn a couple of valuable lessons:

It seems that the tanking blues are over. After several unsuccessful attempts in recruiting healers and reliable CC, I decided to make a move for greener pastures. Yes, I quit my guild. Not that I was overly attached to it, but I enjoyed the camaraderie and good-humored proding that always ensued. Now I found me another guild... a new guild, one that has the fire for raiding and the patience to deal with my strong mood swings.

Anyway, I went back to Kara. And Let me tell you, if all...

The stage was stet for a fun filled evening with guildmates and friends. Moroes, Maiden and opera were the targets. We are still a begining raiding guild, so please bear with me.

But something was wrong. Wife was sick, kids were fighting... and when I say fighting I mean they were using everything from words to fists. How can a tank concentrate> How can a tank manage threat and facesmash the keyboard when every five minutes someone...
