So my brother and I have continued on with leveling our "alts" which now pretty much take up all of our play time.

I played my Tauren Warrior for so long on the horde side that I find myself going around on auto-pilot doing numb skull things

- I go to Horde flight points out of habit. This hasn't gotten me killed yet, but I'm sure it will.

- I go to Horde towns out of habit. I rode through Stonard the other day, and until the guards actually whacked me I didn't even think about it.

So on being a Paladin. My dual boxing combo is a Protection Paladin+Holy Priest. At very low levels this was boring and felt weak. I considered chucking it and starting over several times. In the mid-high 60s it is frankly overpowered.

I'm developing some really bad habits. I find myself more and more just thinking "I'll just pull the whole camp and burn it". That this works really well only encourages me to try more reckless things. I did my quest to kill Bonelashers in one shot, I'm fairly sure there were a few more than 20 including some mobs who wandered over and ended up in the pile.

My brother (who is dual boxing a Paladin/Mage) and I have cleared Ramparts, Blood Furnace, Underbog, and Slavepens with minimal problems with just the two of us. I'm really looking forward to running proper instances with complete strangers. For right now though I'm just focusing on learning the Paladin class in the tanking role and leveling up.

I do miss playing the warrior class, not because of weaknesses in Paladins but because it's a play style I prefer and I've been doing it long enough that it's muscle memory now so I play harder and think less on a warrior. Amid gearing up and recruiting for our guild I plan to get my human warrior up to 80 ASAP so I can get my fix.

My brother and I recently started some characters Alliance-side on our server using Recruit-a-friend. Initially it was to escape the boredom of looking for groups, dailies, and searching for a guild that actually raids after 6PM MST (PST server in Seattle, wouldn't think it would be that hard....).

We fired up the character creation screens on Friday night, and with just a hair over 1 day /played we are in our 40s.. all four of us.. err both of us.

Alliance is different, I realize it varies greatly from server to server. For one thing the Auction House is overflowing with nearly anything you can think of, this is not common Horde-side on PVE servers, quite the opposite. Interesting though, the prices are rape. People charging 25g for a 10-stack of small eggs? We figure if we only sell, and only rarely buy this is the fast track to money.

Back on the recruit-a-friend thing. Until you are knocking out 10 levels a day, and three sessions going from level 1 to buying a mount you don't realize how much gold you actually spend on training in this game. It's not small task to generate 20-30g a day as a lowbie, and getting between eight and ten levels a session easily chews through half of it on training alone.

I have a Human Paladin and Warrior now that will probably be raid-ready in a month or so. I'm actually tempted to just go for it, go hard for gear, and get raiding on Alliance side.

Oh and I can see my boots! :P
