On Anime

Among other things, I like watching a bit of anime. It's not something I've had much of an opportunity to watch, as until very recently I've been limited to 56k.

I've recently watched Eureka Seven, which I reccomended to Cider and Claymore, which Cider reccomded to me. Both were good, but Eureka was let down at the end [The moon and the glowy hearts and the lack of 'care' I had for the Scab] and Claymore didn't seem to be quite there, to focus'd on Action and not enough on plot. They're good, but not great.

Right now, I'm watching through what has so far been the best anime I've ever watched. Death Note. Every episode has just left me saying 'wow'. The Plot's gone from strength to strength, never losing pace. Everything's controlled amazingly, how we find out things, how characters are presented and evolve.

I'm only upto Episode 9 atm, but I can quite easily say that this is the best plot out of any series I have ever watched. What's more, the person who mentioned this to me told me it just keeps getting better.
