Good times, bad times and worse times.

I joined a new guild, not that long ago. It turned out, I joined just a few days after they got created. Later that same day, I went for a 10m naxx run (Plague and Patch was gone - rest was there).
- This went smooth. Altho. I'd been in 3 wings of HC naxx, it was all pretty new to me. So I was thrilled, that we made in 3 hours, without one single wipe.
2 days later and reset came - We went to naxx again and decided to let it go after 2, nearly failure free, wings (few deaths and such). We then went to Ulduar, and downed a few bosses while 70% of the raid was freshmeat - On a sidenote I got two drops (+1 from naxx) so I was indeed happy!
A few days later Naxx was up again - When I logged on it turned out they was 'stuck' on Four Horseman. One had to leave, so suddenly I was in.
It turned out to be the worst ever
well we downed the horsemen + sapp pretty quickly, but when we got to Kel all hell broke loose.
One time, our MT got caught by lag + fissure. One time our healers got pwned by adds. More times went, and ppl got pwned by iceblock, fissures and I don't know what - On top of that, we only had 2 ranged attackers do deal with adds in phase 1.
To cut it short:
We ended up spending +3 hours on 3 bosses ^^
- While it was expencive and unnessary I enjoyed every bit of it. Not because I think it's fun to wipe time after time (especially when we got him to -10% two times) I liked the fact that everybody stayed in the group, dispite drop chances and dispite not needing anything.

Sad that y'all couldn't get KT. Similar stuff happened on my Dedicated Few run. We did well up to KT, but could not for the life of us bring him down. On a fight like KT there is a ton of room for error (esp when you only have 8 people to begin with!).
Your comment about it being nice that everyone stuck around for the wipes is a nice thing to hear. Wish that happened more often.Posted 06-23-2009 at 09:37 AM by Insom
