Okay so I finally got into tanking in Naxxramas, I'm OT which isn't quite what I was imagining, but BOHICA is taking the lead on these runs and we're being invited as the partnered guild. So I'm neither MT or RL, but in a way, that makes things easier, I get told what to do, and I do it. When we wipe, it isn't my fault.
So we steam rolled through the Arachnid quarter, one shotting Anub'rekhan, Grand Widow Faerlina, and Maexxna. Then we went to the Abomination quarter, we one shotted Patchwerk, then wiped to Grobbulus a few times because our MT wasn't kiting him fast enough so we had room to drop the debuff plague clouds in between. So we said alright, enough screwing with him after five wipes, and went to the Plague wing. We one shotted Noth, then wiped over and over to Heigan until we broke for the night.
Lag is killing us during the fast dance.
So last night we went back... and we one shotted Grobbulus, then we killed guluth on the second or third try, but we just couldn't down thaddius. We're going back tonight to try again. Then we died over and over to Heigan again. So now I have a huge ball of hate to shove down Heigan's throat.

- We went back last night... only had 2 and a half hours to try to get him down, and thanks to playing merry-go-pugs with a bunch of people who didn't understand what left and right mean, we just kept wiping ad nauseum.
And worse, due to shitty healer pugs, I was having to blow CD's on Stalagg and Fugen, and didn't have them availiable when the MT dropped on Thadd.
In a related note... Paladin healers... you have cannon heals... they are huge, yes... but they take two to two and a half seconds to go off... DO NOT WAIT UNTIL I'M AT 6k HEALTH TO DO THEM!
Priests... you have quick heals... but they are not big... DON'T WAIT TILL I'M AT HALF HEALTH TO HEAL ME! Also... HOTS! You have them! Use them! I can't be at 3-6k health when Fugen and Stalagg swap the tanks! I will die when I hit the platform!Posted 07-04-2009 at 07:57 AM by Karisita
