Things will change....

Things have certainly changed. I'm enjoying raiding once again. The content is stale for me, however I like the people that I'm doing it with and that is the only thing that matters to me. I tried selling my Warrior since I was'nt logging in on her, however not many peope were willing to pay the price that I was looking for. Still not sure what I plan to do with her however this Druid has kept me occupied enough. Her gear is very close to being finished now, which is great since its almost time for Sunwell. I really hope that Blizzard will make Sunwell as great as Naxx was (something is telling me that they wont :() I have been stock-piling mats for Sunwell so come time... it will look like the scene Gun+Rope scene from Boondock Saints (YES a GANGSTER STORAGE OF POTS!)

As far as further posts, I doubt there will be many since I feel very satisfied with how I have progressed on this Druid in terms of skill. I will make posts come Sunwell or talent changes, but I would'nt expect to see this badboy get bumped more then once every month at best.

As we embrace righteousness, we embrace life
Purified, united. set aside from the majority
I will serve as an example to man as hope
By defending those I love with my life
I stand here bold and strong
As a testament to my abstinence
My heart is open; this slate is clean.

threat, gear, pvp... oh my!

Let me start of by posting this since im fairly proud of it.
http://wowwebstats.com/vc2bvg1vwvkgy?s=6851-7044&a=14 now refer to my sig for my druids armory. My Druid ended up tanking the rogue on Council this week without many problems and all I have to say is that it is certainly great seeing the other side of that room for a change >.<

As I have posted in my past Blog, tanking with the Druid just came natural to me since the cycle is close to that of a Warrior. The problems that i have been experiencing is rage starvation as well as sinks in tps. A big factor is the lack of gear on my Druid. I am nowhere near hit cap nor do I have the 4pc T6 which is HUGE in heroics. Now I know there are plenty of Druids out there without any T6 who dont have issues with threat, however they also don't have T6 geared out dps attacking their targets. Even with a full rage bar I can bairly break 900ish in heroics. I'm honestly stumped here. On my Warrior I used to be able to stay on the target a few seconds and then switch off and it would be glued to me, on this Druid if i don't stay on it till its at 15% it will most likely get peeled off me. I will holla back at you guys about my threat once I get a few more purpz under my belt and see if anything will change.

I finally started to do arena on my Druid which is BALLER! First week since I couldn't find a team I composed a rag-tag-alt-trio, it was made up of not one but TWO holy Paladins and myself as feral. Games lasted anywhere between 3 (caster teams focusing me and its GG) and 30 some-odd minutes (melee teams with a single healer that get drained over time) We finished the first week off at exactly 1500 at 10 games played. This week we HUGE strides in bringing our raiting up, we ended up with a 1506 at 12 games played. I would probably be choking a child after I was done facing our team, however its incredibly fun on our end!

The real PvP started when an old guild mate of mine (who happens to be a resto Druid and on the same server as my Furry) and I decided to make a 2's team. He is one of the highest rated Restos in the BG group and I am.....well lets just say my Druid is sitting on 71 resil >.< At 18 games played we are 15-3 and 1673. Hopefully we can hit 1800's before the week ends. My number one priority is the S3 feral stick, however I definitely want to see this team secede and might pickup a full feral set S3 set in order to achieve that. The catch 22 that I'm sitting in is that in order for me to get high arena points I need resil and I cant get resil unless I have high arena points. The best part about the delemna is that no one wants a feral Druid, so I would have to get Resto PvP gear in order to get arena point so I eventually can get Feral gear..... GAHH. This is going to be like a 4 month investment in order for me to snag up some Furry PvP gear.

As I have stated before, the reason why I made my Druid was due to me getting bored of the game as well as having nothing to do. Well because of the ongoing drama within my guild I decided that it would be best to step away from that since i wasn't having fun playing WoW. I moved my Druid to another server and joined a BT raiding guild where I plan to continue to play on her full time. I was able to pull 1450 dps on Gorefiend the other night with sub-optimal gear and am eagerly wanting to see what Druids are made of with the top of the line items out there. Tanking on the Druid is second nature to me now and I almost feel like I have been playing her for months. The goal right now is to get enough Honor and Arena points so obtain enough resilience for PvP Resto. This was meant to be an update more then anything else, so expect much more detailed posts soon.

My guild finished our weeks worth of raids early on Wed so I was able to login on my Druid and go into SSC with Onslaught (the guild who I tagged my Druid under) I was able to get there right in time for FLK which was great since I still needed the quest. Having only been in a main tank role in TBC, I must say it was interesting seeing these encounters from another pov. Mid FLK fight, i heard a healer call out of an intervate to whom I eagerly responded " I GOTCHA LIL BUDDY" It was great feeling valuable (not that being the MT aint important, its just that being a hybrid in a raid and knowing that I was the one that made sure that priest didn't run out of mana felt good inside... yeah I don't know.. SHUT UP! It just made me feel important)

We made our way for Vashj after FLK and with my gimpy gear I miraculously pulled #7 on DPS meters. I was able to get my first vile and was that much closer to being attuned. Next day we had started TK. After we had finished a very messy first pull the CC meters were linked in raid. Shottie was on top with 4... OHEMGEE did this make me blush. I belive I had totally spaced out and forgot which character I was playing. We got to Al'ar and they had wanted me to tank... cool! Them using 5 tanks for P1, four of which to stand on the balconies... not so cool! Prior to the raid the guilds leadership had asked me to help them shape up their tanks, having them mindlessly stand around on the platforms is certainly ain't the way to help them train (if you can even call it that) I got 6th on VR and 880 dps on Solarian (GG ROFLCANE!) Unfortunately the guild was not able to beat KT that night since they were attempting to attune 6 or so new people. But overall I had alot of fun. I got slightly more comfortable with the Druid's dps cycle as well as the furry tanking.

I feel farily comfortable when I have to shift into bear and tank since the cycle is very close to that of a warrior. PvP on the other hand is a pain, im starting to enjoy being feared about as much as being stunlocked by a mace rogue. My gear is no where near to the level that it should be thus making PvP very frustrating.

or more like 109 that my Druid has gathered within the first 4-5 days at level 70. I have been running heroics like nobodies business in atempts to get my rep up as well as get some phat puprz. Shottie is starting to put out some respectable damage to a point where Paladins are giving me Salvation (well that and if i pull hate I would get oneshoted due to a low hitpoint pool)

Last night I spoke to the #4 guild on the server who is a few weeks into T6 dungeons about having Shottie raid with them. Being able to raid on my Druid would mean that on our offnights when there is nothing to do outside of jumping squares in IF, I would be raiding. They are going to get back to me today about if I will be getting in or not (however from my understanding it will be a yes most likely due to the fact that they have alot to gain from this as well with me knowing all the content already and being able to help them through it)

First things first, hitting 70 i decided to embark on my Druid epic flight-form quest. For those of you who do not know what you have to do, its basically the KING of all postmaster quests. Needless to say i was tapping myself on the back for buying an epic mount. I grabbed a few guild mates and off we went into a heroic with my druid who was about 7 hours into 70 >.< It ended up going fairly smooth despite me being there (did a 4 man heroic steamvolts as well)

After the run I had two nethers on my hands so i decided to craft [item]Boots of Natural Grace[/item] since i knew they would last me for some time and i could use them as both dps and tank.

No less then 30 minutes after i got out of that heroic, we started putting together a Karazhan run. My defense was still not at uncritable, however we ended up clearing the entire place very quickly (overgeared healers for undergeared alt dps and tanks.) I ended up walking out of there with more purps then i can count (unfortuently most of them were boomkin or heal.) The few main pieces that i got were [item]Moroes' Lucky Pocket Watch[/item], [item]Mithril Chain of Heroism[/item], and [item]Gloves of Dexterous Manipulation[/item].

Every other pack i had realized that i was doing something wrong. For one fight i didn't have Omen of Clarity up. Another time i had screwed up my dps cycle. I also kept forgeting to rebuff mark on my party. Its all things that im positive will come second nature to me once i get more play time on the druid.

Tanking Kara on my Druid wasn't a problem, it felt really nature even though the buttons were different i had gotten into the swing of it. I think the biggest thing that had hurt me on that run was lack of an organized UI. Prior to the raid i had tried copying my setting from my warrior and in the process had screwed up his UI, thus i nearly had a stroke prior to the raid.

Right before i went to sleep last night, i had decided to put in quality gems and enchant the gear that i will be keeping. Still lacking alot of enchants, my druid is sitting on 2400 ap, 9 expertise, 31.50 crit, and 5% hit self buffed. I still have alot of work to do on my tank gear so I'm not going to mention those stats... oh almost forgot, with all the badges from Kara i was able to snag [item]Idol of Terror[/item] which i belive converts to 3.65% passive dodge.

I plan on getting some pvp into the mix as well as heroics within the next week or so.

Since I decided to write this blog after i hit 70, (2 days into it atm) I will try to cover my leveling experience as swiftly as possible.

*Creation...*
"hmm only NE can be Druids on Alliance.. that ain't good! they don't look ~good~ GDI!!!!1"
/cope
"aight well sure as heck wont be a male"
"ohh this haircut looks cute (im so gay)"
"aight finished, now onto a PRO name"
Name already taken
Name already taken
Name already taken
Name already taken
Name already taken
"#$%@*$*#&$MOTHER*&+@$GOD*&@#"
Name already taken
_SHOTTIE CREATED!_ <--tell me that name ain't pro!

*Prepiration*
Time to go shopping! I'm not going to front, my warrior is LOADED ([item]Felsteel Longblade[/item] is a hot commodity for misinformed individuals >.<) I snagged about 3k worth of gold in items which i knew i would be using once i hit 70.

*Leveling*
lvl's 1-10
/cast Wrath(Rank 1)

lvl's 10-20
"PRO i get bear form....hmm not as cool as i thought!"
/zzz ???
i honestly don't remember those levels, or at least blocked them out due to the pain of being a rage starved furball and spending the entire time auto attacking.

lvl's 20-50
"CAT FORM... OMGOMGOMGOMG I CAN KILL THINGS!"
I spent majority of these levels nagging guild mates to rush me through horrible low level instances a bunch of times.

lvl's 50-70
MANGLE.. let me say that again MANGLE
i cannot describe how magical this ability is. It single handedly doubled my leveling speed (that and guild mates were more willing to go through 55-60 instances due to [item]Large Brilliant Shard[/item]'s.)
as I put it ever so eloquently on vent to Joana all i have to do is
MANGLEMANGLEMANGLEMANGLEMANGLEMANGLE (and yes said it exactly like that)

I hit outlands at 58 and within the first 45 minutes i replaced about 1/3 of my gear (LUL!) Since you only need Honored faction to be able to do instances, I decided on killing every single quest in the zone to get the max possible rep. When i hit 70 I had done every single quest (or just about) with the exception of Netherstorm which im anticipation should yield me around 1k in gold when i decide to go back and do those quests. I ended up hitting my target rep with all the factions save Consortium which is half way inside Friendly right now.

That night when i hit 70 I was able to knock out the first 2 key fragment quests for the Karazhan attunement line. The very next morning I was attuned to Karazhan and ready to begin my BT/MH attainment (finished the Seer quest in Arcat.)

...stay tuned

SHOTTIE CREATED! <--tell me that name ain't pro!

Prepiration
Time to go shopping! I'm not going to front, my warrior is LOADED ([item]Felsteel Longblade[/item] is a hot commodity for misinformed individuals >.<) I snagged about 3k worth of gold in items which i knew i would be using once i hit 70.

Leveling
