So the last major fight we needed to finish off Glory of the Ulduar raider 10 was Yogg + 1. We must have had 2 hours of attempts last night where absolutely nothing could go right. Watching as a healer gets feared next to a crusher only to get one shot... watching someone step on a cloud... it was taking its toll on me. I had had a really long and bad day prior to it and this was just making things worse. Much worse. We started making some progress past the two hour mark, getting into phase...

Simplification. Is it catering to casual players or is it removing unnecessary complexity? With the recent changes announced for the upcoming Cataclysm expansion, some people are rather frustrated at what seems like an ongoing trend of simplifying the game. Claiming that it ruins their enjoyment might be valid, but are they really making the game just too easy or are they merely removing the complexity that has little to do with the actual gameplay?

Today is my 27th birthday, and since I had my party yesterday and I'm having a crappy day at work, all I need is a good raid night with a dead Mimiron. Might seem silly but... well... meh.

The line was finally crossed. For a long time we've had a member who has been a huge thorn in the side of the raid leadership... I mean this guy might very well be trying to be a pain. We've held out on removing him for a pair of reasons - 1) he is good friends with a couple members that we very much like having around and 2) his damage, when he tries, is quite good.

Night and day. 25 man pre-nerf deconstructor vs. 10 man nerfed deconstructor. What a world of change... two days after we had our painful 25 man we stepped back in to Ulduar for some light 10 man work. Expecting more of the same but maybe a little easier, we were surprised to the ease the instance fell into place for us.

Deconstructor felt way too easy, maybe it was experience, maybe it was the nerfs, hard to tell. What I do know is 5mil health over 7 minutes isn't exactly a...
