I've lived alone for over two years. I hate it. People don't understand why I say this, so I'll explain:

• Medical Emergency: What if something happens to me and I can't get help?
• Burglary: What if someone breaks into my home while I'm asleep?
• Creepy Sounding Furnace: Really creepy.

I live with my cell phone constantly charged and by my side. I sleep with a weapon nearby, always. But then, what if a situation arises where I can't give my address if I call 911?

I got glasses today for the first time in my life. Wow!

It has little effect on how I view my computer screen. This makes sense, because it's probably 20 years of looking at computer screens that my eyes have become accustomed to.

But the effect it has on my vision at a distance... I really had no idea how much clearer things would be with glasses. I didn't realize just how fuzzy things were for me at a distance until I saw how clear they look now.
