Fury is Fun ^_^

I've been MT for our raid for a little over 2 years now, I think. I lost track. I'm pretty sure that of the 150+ days played I have on Caulle that at least 140 of them were spent protection spec'd.
Last night, for shits and giggles, Pathis and I decided to swap accounts. He's played Caulle for the raid before when I couldn't raid due to work, and aside from me having slightly better gear right now, it's cheaper to play the prot warrior than to resepc your own. That aside, it was his offer to swap for the night. He knows I'm pretty burned on things right now and that I might like to just go pew pew for a while. Well, I certainly went pew pew for a while, and it was wicked fun.
Fury warriors in full T6 level gear are pretty crazy. Bloodthirst was critting for almost 4k, numbers flying everywhere. The biggest thing I noticed in Hyjal last night right away on the first pack was how much tanking as fury is horrible. I mean, it might have partially been the fact that I didn't realize they were giving me salv all night until about Azgalor, and I didn't have my kill salv mod on either. But it didn't matter because we brought a prot pally in with us for the first time ever.
Wowowow. Hyjal trash is such a joke with a prot pally. Even with me totally tanking like a noob, it didn't matter because the prot pally had literally all the mobs on him at all times. It was amazing. Eventually I just swapped to full DPS gear with sword and board, and that made tanking easier. Mobs don't like 4k crit BT's to the face.
The other amazing thing about last night was playing someone else's character, and finding out who all their cyber partners are. Okay, I jest, I actually initiated a little "friendly" conversation with the guild bicycle. She jumped right on Pathis, which I thought was amusing. And then it became even more amusing when she found out that Pathis was really Caulle. She immediately squealed on vent, and when everyone asks what was going on, she replied with 'I'm sorry, I just get really excited when Caulle talks to me." Apparently I have a way with the ladies.
Anywho, my night as the fury warrior was a ton of fun, and last night was definitely the most fun I've had in raid for a while.

 | Sounds like a blast. I wish I had a guildy willing to switch accounts for a day. My spriest is fun, but it's not quite as in-your-face as I like. |

| | Heh, yeah, I asked my Kara raid leader for permission to go fury that week for the badgefarm, and I'm having the time of my life. Illhoof was pure ridiculousness with Sweeping Strikes, Cleave, Whirlwind, and best of all, Victory Rush proccing every few seconds. |
