Holy Frost Spec Batman!!

So it's been a while since i posted here last, and that's mainly to do with my work. 6 days, 60+ hours a week is a killer. But last night, feeling frisky, I tanked Naxx10 with some guildies.
I haven't been playing WoW nearly as often of late, and have largely ignored all things WoW while working [except TS, where i still pop in to read blogs daily] so i only Dual Spec'd ["Duel Spec'd" for the spelling impaired... sorry, pet peeve of mine] a couple of weeks ago and haven't really played with it much. After much thought, I had decided that tanking is my love, so I'll go frost/blood tank. Blood was an easy decision for boss fights. Never get tired of hearing healers say "wow, you're really easy to keep up". As a former healer, I appreciate the magnitude of that statement. But I was having major issues with AoE threat as a blood tank, so after much gnashing of teeth and contemplation and, of course, the requisite hand-wringing, I opted to DS Frost.
Flash back to Naxx10 last night [easy full-clear even with alts at this point] and we get to Patch. It's myself and a Prot Paladin. I'm used to letting the paladin pull aggro, then taunting to "cheat" my way to the top of the threat charts, but we agree that since I have better health, I should be the one eating the Hatefuls. In vent, the prot paladin says "wow, so i get to be the top in threat for once?" and it occurs to me... I've been pulling trash, bosses, name it... And being #1 in threat all night. I had to back off at times on Patch to not pull aggro!!
Frost spec, you are my true love. I'm sorry that i thought I loved blood... I was wrong. Can you ever forgive me?

Frost is uber sexy. I love it when i can hit 12,000 dps on trash sometimes as a tank, makes everyone else look like crap and i can laugh.Posted 06-13-2009 at 04:13 PM by Swam

Spec Killing Machine. Procs like crazy. Open your pulls with IT, PS, Pest, Deathchill, HB. After that, the mobs are pretty unhappy with you. I'll sometimes follow it up with Hungering Cold, HB if KM has proc'd [which it prolly has at that point]. Nothing to piss mobs off like a mass crit with bonus damage from your diseases. If KM hasn't proc'd, drop a DnD and bide your time with BB until KM procs. can't remember seeing anything proc as often as KM.
