I heard about a video of a T6 warrior soloing Ramparts on the PTR, so I decided to do it myself. It was surprisingly easy. It only took me an hour and a stack and a half of food. I died once after I pulled two groups and stupidly left the dogs until last to kill (used Last Stand and the bleed they do killed me once it ran out )

On to Blood Furnace in the near future!

Edit: FYI, my gear is a mix of Kara, badge and ZA stuff. On the PTR I have 15324 health, 17172 armour, ~48% avoidance, 1200 AP and 688 block value (incidentally those are about my live stats except my block value has doubled).

I've done it several times but I always seem to die once, always at the hound master. I have my warlock on a second account so drug him through on auto follow while leveling him up a few times. The main thing is that its just time consuming. I'm not in T6 so heh, it takes me a good 2 hours.

Update: I did the first couple of pulls in BF too, they're just as easy. I'll probably go back and try the rest tomorrow, it's really late here now

I love going into these old instances and doin' this stuff. One of my favourites was Duo-ing Steamvaults with a Priest to do the Kara attunement. It basically came down to MC + me soloing a number of mobs via endless Shield Blocking. Due to the superiority of Holy Shield, I'm pretty sure Paladins could just out right solo this place.

I didn't add it to the post, but I also tanked Gruul on the PTR. He died on the third growth. Level 70 raids are going to be much easier once 3.0 hits

I've taken to visiting Baron Rivendare recently. On live Strat UD is reasonably hard going. It takes me about an hour and I can only kill the Baron when I have Shield Wall to use (as well as potions and holy water). I tried on the PTR and done it within 45 minutes quite easily.

i have soloed ramps once or twice on live (2.3-2.4)

Its not as hard as you would think. High avoidance and high health really. it even easier if you are running someone and that someone is a 60 healer. but then thats not soloing ;P

I hadn't tried it on live. I decided to do this after remembering a video that was posted here of a T6 warrior doing it on the PTR and getting huge crits, so I thought I'd try to see how hard it actually was. Once I reactivate my account (after I finish this conference report -_-) I'm going to try it on live.
